I love that photo of the flappers making Atwater Kent radios in 1925! Just think of the jazz they would get to listen too!

Keynes was a disaster. he just imposed an economic system that amounted to corporate control over the government. He didn't even have a basic understanding of economics.

As someone who has done all three physical labor, skilled trade, and skilled tech.

There's something to be said about physical labor and skilled trades, you feel like you accomplished something. And the fruits of your labor will outlive any Computer or Software you will ever make or use. And before Washington decided to fuck over the American Middle Class Blue Collar workers, the flooring trade was paying me on par with software development. Besides that, it took me several years to get to the pay scale I'm at now. If you're skilled at a trade and know how to use your tools, and are in demand with your clientele. You make what every other person in your trade makes. People don't ask, "How long have you been doing this?" Then say... "3 years! Well then I'll just pay 1/3 of the Senior Developers are making."
You just have to know your shit. Technology has given mankind sophisticated technical problems. Problems that will never go away because they will live on in databases, and erroneous reports. I think we were in the sweet spot of technology in 1997. It started going to hell when our DOJ tried to sue Microsoft for their wonderful contribution to humanity.
It stopped being a contribution to humanity and turned into a weapon to use against it.

The promising optimism of the future of computing and the internet, did not deliver to my expectations. I knew unjittery video was on the way, and knew faster connection speed was also going to be a given. But everything else in the implantation has been a total disaster and failure to humanity.

We really fucked ourselves giving up personal webspace for a Facebook profile. Couple that with the closing of physical book stores, we're well on our way to unlearning everything we have learned up to 1997 that made Technology so great and promising.

We're morons actually cheering on Google to obtain AI supremacy, and it does not horrify us all. So much so to the point we should be forming a mob with torches, marching to Frankenstein castle to burn out the beast.
