There have been a series of heists at Apple stores along the peninsula recently. The most recent was at Stanford Shopping Center yesterday where $105k worth of product was stolen by 9 men who had two getaway cars waiting.

Criminal liberals are stealing from corporate elitist liberals. And corporate elitist liberals are reluctant to work with city liberals to address the problem due to backlash from other liberals for being racist. This is just too perfect LOL

I’ve seen surveillance videos of past heists and the perpetrators were all white females... jk, you know who they were...

Every one of those stolen items has a GPS chip. But will Apple work towards resolving it or will it be simply treated as Overhead?

Edit: @Patrick my “upload image” button doesn’t seem to work, hasn’t for some time now. I’d like to post the image of the article from this mornings paper.

They would never dare. To track and prosecute would be "raycist" because the perps would all look a certain way. Imagine the headlines in leftist news:

"Racist Apple tracks and jails 7 black males"

So Apple is black mailed against prosecuting black males.

The best thing is these sons of Obama just walk in and leasurely clean out the store before strolling out while being recorded for fame by white leftoid shitlibs. No sense of urgency just put a hoodie on and every suspicion becomes automatically rayscyst. They know they have nothing to fear from Apple or the CA justice system.

Here's a story about a smash-and-grab a few years ago. It seems that Apple works to downplay the arrests, but people do get caught (eventually).

https://www.mercurynews.com/2017/03/08/palo-alto-9-of-10-suspects-in-apple-store-ram-and-grab-arrested/
Police have all but one suspect in custody from a pre-dawn heist last year when 10 burglars rammed an SUV into an Apple store in Palo Alto.

Palo Alto detectives say the suspects are members of an Oakland-based “criminal street gang.”

“Police are choosing not to identify that gang publicly so as to avoid bringing unnecessary recognition to it,” the Palo Alto Police Department said in a news release Wednesday.

Here's some video from Australia.

Here's two more (one video) stores in San Francisco:

Hey BayArea, some time in the past few months someone put a post on here on patrick.net that they were planning a vacation in Boise to check out relocation to there.

I was curious to learn about their impressions of Boise as a place to relocate to from here.

I could not find that post on patrick's website. I could have sworn you were the one who posted it but maybe I am mistaken.

It's interesting to learn about Bay Area locals who lived here their whole life and decide to relocate out of the region. I know many who've done it. What's interesting is how they choose a particular location, what were their reasons, etc.

Most of my homies are gone now, replaced by folks who think they have reached nirvana here in what the region has become. I suppose, compared to the overcrowded, expensive concrete canyons of Asia where most have them came from, this is still the Wide Open Prairie, at Bargain Prices. The most popular relocation destination for my homies has been the area between Sacramento (including Sacramento), and the foothills from Chico down to about Placerville.

Was that post about Boise yours? What did you think about Boise? If it wasn't your post, do you recall whose it was?

Some California retirement fleas are moving to the areas more Easterly in Oregon from Bend to Warm Springs. Dryish high desert with moderate, sunny climate, but easy drive into the Cascades. Or, up along the Columbia River. These areas seem to be more popular 'Wrecked California, So Taking The Money And Running' yuppie flight spots.

Which brings us to the natural conclusion that the safest way to hit an Apple store is do it while wearing a blackface.

Yes Ceffer, I have homies who relocated to those places: Medford area, Bend, Portland area. I've visited some of them. I came very close to relocating to the Portand area in 2001. Had a job lined up there. I'd say after the area in and around Sac, Oregon is the second most popular place. A homie also relocated to Boise. The Super Commuter engineer I mentioned who exiled self to Boise was not a "local" kid. Easy relocation for that person, had no roots here.

It's crazy, but maybe someone at Apple knows what I have observed; the iPhone is vastly popular in the same group as the robbers; I saw the phones in the back pocked of a ton of females in S. Florida who were working at 1. Dunkin Donuts 2. Chick Fil A 3. Target 4. Walmart 5. McDonalds 6. everywhere else you see young females.

It was my understanding that something about the store phones made them less than adequate for use? I might be wrong.

I wouldn't be surprised if Apple didn't get a little boost in iPhone sales every February/March when the single mothers get the earned income credit checks from Uncle Sam in the thousands.

Why are liberals so soft on black crime?

My liberal white friends get super offended if they hear factual black crime statistics.

I don’t understand, can someone explain?

Love how the newsie refers at 0:14 and 1:47 to the "black market"! Black indeed! Surprised he wasn't fired for such a racist comment!

That could be, but Apple's Jan-March quarter is usually the most sluggish. Presumably that's because the timing of the release of the new iPhones and the Christmas season.

Also, Apple and the phone carriers all have rent-to-own type programs where you can get your phone right now and pay on it over a 24-month installment plan. So, any time you have a spare $80 in your pocket you can start a contract on a high end phone (iOS or Android). Of course there are also trade-in programs so you can keep up-to-date... because the last thing you want is to have paid off the 24-month contract and own a phone free-and-clear with a much lower monthly service payment. Please keep us posted when you have something to share.

The insights of a lifelong Bay Arean are more insightful than those who come here in Gold Rush fashion and subsequently leave for the what they see as Greener Pastures.

Update:

I passed by the Apple store on Burlingame Ave in Burlingame.

Two Burlingame cops standing out front. We ask them if something happened and what they are doing.

They tell us two police officers stand guard in front of Apple store because of frequent coordinated Apple store robberies.

I wonder if it’s all tax payer funding or if Apple is supplementing any of that cost?

One cop says “ya, we are collecting a lot of OT for this” lol
