San Francisco PUC just cancelled our contract

I work in the water/sewer infrastructure engineering business and we got a letter from San Francisco PUC this week that they will no longer do business with the company because our HQ is based in one of the 10 states that is insufficiently woke regarding LGBTQ#$% issues......even though our company and our parent company in Chicago all have HR policies recognizing gay marriage and provides benefits etc.

SF can't keep the shit and needles off the streets and have more registered drug users than H.S. students, but they have time to spend on this shit?

I swear, I get more Conservative by the day living in this retarded State run top to bottom by SJW Democrat morons.

Will they make sure that none of oil and electricity produced in TX is used in CA?

Empower the lowest common denominators so that the idiopolous remains confused, disorganized and dependent while the LibbyFuck Royals avoid scrutiny and transparency.

It's standard Progressive psyops to keep the populations at odds and begging for crumbs while the ruling class remains sacrosanct.

Empower every narrow kook with a grudge, an identity, a solipsistic cause, a freak-sheet, or a perversion flag and allow them to disrupt the social fabric. Keep the drugs flowing into the society so that crime and addiction keeps the society broken, disunited and crime ridden at street level.

You don't think this shit isn't on purpose? They've been doing it either here or on foreign soils since before they splattered Kennedy.

Majority rules! It's Free Market Capitalism that triggers America hating Rep/Cons.

It's not free market capitalism. We won the contract fair and square through a competitive bid process. Now the City is stuck hiring one of our higher cost competitors or trying to do the work in house, which will cost at least 50% more than what we were providing. They will also have to redo all the work we started, which is another hit to the tax payer.

Hope there are $$$anctions because City axed the contract, and your company gets paid handsomely.

There was a paper on the social justice and random rules of Socialism that came out in the 1950s reflecting on the ills of socialism and dictatorships. The concern with the multiple bureaucrat random social justice is a key issue with socialism in general.

Hope your Company sues the shit out of them. Of Course, it'll be the Woke Tax Payers who pay.

Revolutions happen when "Modernization" goes to far or when there's competing Philosophies of "Change".

This is war man.

Cancel culture has gone from cancelling people to cancelling contracts. Yikes. And of course, these regressive policies end up alienating people...
The number of Americans 18 to 34 who are comfortable interacting with LGBTQ people slipped from 53% in 2017 to 45% in 2018 – the only age group to show a decline, according to the annual Accelerating Acceptance report. And that is down from 63% in 2016.

Our lawyers are working it.

The City also asked if we buy back the technology we sold them. We told them to pound sand.

I am used to working with unions and morons in government. You can't believe the amount of waste, laziness and idiocy I see in cities all across the West Coast. Usually the engineering departments have their heads screwed on straight and roll their eyes with all of the bullshit SJW stuff their HR departments and unions make them go through.

But this particular engineering department in San Francisco is super woke and not willing to go to bat for us.

With respect to electricity, actually, yes!
Here in Sunnyvale we use special electrons that are crafted from 100% from renewable sources. We're special! /sarc
We also pay a base rate of 22¢ kWh, which increases considerably if you go over your household "limit."

The oil might come from Texas, but it's refined in California. No other state would tolerate our special blend at $3.60/gallon.

This means SF city council is raycist...their boycott harms 56% of Texas population which are minorities, e.i. not Fucking White Males (40% Hispanic +12% black, and ca. 4% Asians)

Only 2 reasons.

1 (most likely), they are retarded with lgbt bullshit and fucking up as usual banning everything.

2 (possibly), just made up bullshit excuse so they can instead hire a connected asshole who bribed some asshole high up.

If they stated bullshit excuse you can sue them for religious discrimination lol.

Time to hold people accountable to the contracts they have signed. Once rule of law goes out the window, we cede control to a few far left (and right) wing extremists.
