How long until they track them all down?
Will they say they dindu nuffin?
Do we blame our school system for pumping out such idiots?
Will reparations fix this?

In Santa Cruz on local blog from Live Oak:

"Neighbors,

Around 2am this morning, there was a loud banging sound outside. My wonderfully brave dog, charged into action and began barking furiously. I didn’t want her to wake the neighbors, so I got up and hobbled to the screen door to look out and tell her to come in.

A man was just about to open my screen door to enter my kitchen. I leave all the doors open at night, including the kitchen door.
I asked, “Who’s out there?”, and a guy’s voice said, “Oh. sorry. I’m going.”

I didn’t see him. My landlord got up and went out to the gate (which we will now lock), and saw a guy across the street and asked him why he was on the property. He denied it, with a few F bombs. Then my landlord saw another guy, and the two walked away together.

Too dark to see much.

I believe that they were casing the place for a future burglary.
Needless to say, I’m locking everything up.

I wish these people would just get a real job. Then they can buy all the drugs, cigs, booze, they can afford. 🙄

Now, I’ll have to buy a freaking camera. 😡

Keep an ear out at night folks. This guys was loud, so maybe he’ll get caught.

Screw the camera, buy a shotgun and neutralize the threat.

Did you call the sheriff?

Considering the countless number of break ins I say shotgun! I’m soooo sick of this! People can’t even feel safe in their own homes.

I’d recommend a multi layered security setup. Yes, a camera can potentially be a nice deterrent, same with your dog, but what are you going to do if they come back? As the saying goes; ‘when seconds matter, police are only minutes minutes away’. You are responsible for your safety. Can’t go wrong with a shotgun or handgun

We’ve had several incidences of would-be intruders- while we were home! The scariest was a man trying to open our patio door- our dog woke us up with barking. We stood only 6 feet away from the glass door, my husband pointing a shotgun and me with phone in hand dialing 911- the guy looking at us through the door still trying to force it open! Hubby jerked the door open and our dog pinned the man against the side of the house. He was terrified not of the shotgun, but of the golden retriever snarling at him! The dog backed off and the man hopped our back fence, searched for but not found by the Sheriff. So if I were you, I’d sleep with a dog, a gun, a canned air horn, a phone, pepper spray, and a hatchet, and get ring or
nest cameras, also."

These are just a few excerpts from a rather long litany of shared stories of various home break ins in a previously safe area of Santa Cruz. This shit wasn't happening a few short years ago, and now, they local LibbyFucks are actually talking about blowing perps away. Strange when it finally lands in your own front yard and you now express anger and dismay.

Corrupt Libby Politicians, homeless, drugs, 'sympathy', 'compassion', misguided welfare, no enforcement of laws, chronic probation scofflaws and sanctuary areas giving the cartels and dealers open season: The endless self reinforcing and self feeding circle jerk of LibbyFuck predictable doom. There is also a recall petition against TWO of the Santa Cruz City Council, likely because they are expediting the drug dealers and sales to the homeless population for what, could it be bribes???? Nobody wants to say for fear of libel/slander, except that these two (one a person of color) are known for screaming loud threats at others in City Hall.

I was watching police in San Francisco at a community meeting on YouTube actually telling people NOT to use their cell phones in public or on BART, because they were inviting muggings and crime. The ultimate abdication: blame people for using their own property in public for the crime problem the police won't touch. The audience was largely Asian, and they told them not to leave Asian decorations outside their homes because burglars would regard them as easier targets.

A social worker was protesting that the police didn't do anything to drug dealers plying their trade in public, just to get the brush off as if it were the public's own fault. Because she is a social worker, she talks with a lot of homeless and says that most of them got money from other states to travel to SF. I guess social services offices in other parts of the country must have color brochures for their problem populations showing the wonders of California with free tickets and a grub stake.

Inconceivable why those thugs don't meet Heckler and Koch or Smith and Wesson. Leftoids have ruined CA.

Shotgun is always the correct answer. .

Notice we didn't have this shit when California was still an open carry state, up until a few years ago.

If I was in law enforcement / social programs in another state, I would try to champion this as a strategy. I would convince my peers that buying the losers a bus ticket to SF, where they would be "welcomed, loved, and sanctuaried", would be good for both the loser and the local community.

It's amazing how many bums and criminals and nuts are running around Santa Cruz these days; what is also amazing is the limp-dicked attitude most people have to the threat they pose to them.

I live on a nice street a few blocks from the downtown Pacific Ave. There are bums who have tried to sneak into my neighbor's back yard. I woke one morning to hear my other neighbor yelling at two bums: "Get out of here!" He didn't have a gun or pepper spray or any means to protect himself; one bum yelled back and I thought to myself "lucky I showed up, he was in some danger. " (He's a vegetarian so he's 6'1" 145 lbs)

His response to the threat is to install a couple of those Arlo cameras.

I believe I might be the only person on my block who has a gun in case push came to shove and a really crazed nut tried to bother me.

The essence of the problem is the local politicians don't care about the taxpayers; they don't care about the quality of life of those paying the bills, they worry about the quality of life of the addicts, crazies and bums much more.

Unlike Florida where they like and encourage people with retirement money to come down and live, Santa Cruz seems to hate anyone who has anything because that's just unfair to those who have less than you do; it's unfair they are not as diligent, responsible, smart, hardworking as you are.
