Government corruption at it’s finest and why taxes increase indefinitely.

Just wait till 2020 where all emotional appeals for more taxes come to make government rich. They are entitled as hell there.

The tax coffers grumble and growl! They seek to feed! Their hunger is raw and boundless! Ask not what your state can do for you, but how your state can fleece you while going full tilt third world!

Yet we are told we can't have nice things in California like good schools, streets free of human shit, and sensibly managed fire prone areas because we are not paying high enough taxes.

California has become similar to Mexico and other third world countries; those in government are very secure and the rest have to pay for their rich pensions.

A friend of mine was asked to retire early in San Diego; he hadn't worked the 30 years or whatever number it was for "full pension" so they allowed him to "buy years" for cash which he did.

His pension for life is worth a couple of million bucks; calculate that it would take about $1 million to generate an income of $50,000 or so.

He and the other guys I know who decided to work for various counties in California are well off.

I will have a difficult decision someday when all my retirement accounts are ready to spend; should I pay the state of California $5,000-$9,000 per year for the nice weather in the summer?

There is no digging out of California's massive pension liability without the unions and existing pensioners giving something back. If the pensions couldn't get whole in the latest bull market, when will they ever get whole? They are structurally unpayable.

But Progs being greedy Progs - will let the cities burn down through bankruptcy before giving up any of their benefits.
