This is the most idiotic thing out of recent flurry of idiotic things. "Let the street decide it's own zoning"? By what legal mechanism? A city is a legal entity with a mayor, city council, etc. Who's the "mayor" of the street? Who are "street council members"? How are they elected? There is no legal basis for all that lunacy.
