There was a guy (Evil Caucasian Overlord) on You Tube who said he was robbed of his phone at gunpoint. He had cloud access through his computer, and saw his own stolen phone being used to video a collection of other stolen apple phones.
My wife got jury duty in Oakland last month. She complained that she did not want to do jury duty in Oakland because she did not feel safe taking BART or walking from Oakland BART to the Court House. They basically let her out, and did not seemed surprised at the complaint. It seems they hear it all the time. Jurors from the suburbs do not want to take BART to do jury duty in Oakland.

I didn't hear the exchange, but the upshot was she did not have to appear. She said the lady didn't act surprised at the nature of the complaint, i.e. dangerous actually to make the trip and walk to courthouse for self protective jury candidate who is afraid of BART and Oakland, like she heard it routinely.
The last time my wife and I were on BART a while ago, I was accosted by a drunken black youth who badgered me for money for some 'cause'. He just kept harassing me, no matter how many times I politely said I was not interested, and was so drunk he almost fell over on me. A black woman nearby sitting down looked at me with hostility as if it were MY fault that this drunken person was harassing me when I was just minding my own business.
