#jeffreyepsteinMoney Talks And Bullshit Walks-The Jeffrey Epstein Story
“Money talks and bullshit walks” is an earthy saying from my home state of Texas. It tells us something that most have known since they were little children. Those with money and political influence are treated with more lenience in the criminal justice systems of many different countries. Poor people always get longer sentences and are convicted on weaker evidence.
I have been following this case carefully. People are amazed that Epstein was able to avoid Federal criminal prosecution eleven years ago for very serious sex crimes where victims crossed state lines.
There are many people sure that Epstein paid a huge bribe to someone in the US Attorney’s Office to avoid prosecution. I never believed this. The Federal legal system is not that blatantly corrupt.
What comes out here is that Epstein used the same playbook that manufacturers and distributors of opioids played to avoid Federal criminal prosecution concerning the deaths of hundreds of thousands of opioid overdose victims. These giant companies hired an army of top Harvard, Yale, and Stanford lawyers working at the best tier-one law firms. This intimidated Federal prosecutors from bringing criminal cases and civil actions. In simple language, they knew that they were going to be facing much better lawyers.
Epstein hired “a dream team’ of lawyers to defend him. I cannot prove this, but I have a good feeling that he also hired a team of private investigators to “investigate the investigators.” You can rest assured that they found some dirt on employees in the US Attorney’s office. Epstein used intimidation to win. He was given another eleven years to victimize and destroy the lives of underage women.

Oliver it really is as simple as Liberals are a bunch of Corrupt sorry Bastards, and they operate under two sets of rules.
Their political deities must never suffer negative press, or consequences for any crimes. All of that other shit about money talks blah blah.
Republicans don't enjoy the same payola immunity or a such a large field to roam with impunity.

Recall that some of girls he got were from high school; they had parents evidently in the Palm Beach and Manhattan locations.

His investigators and lawyers found out stuff about them and everyone else.

Many of the parents of the young girls would wish this to be kept quiet for the sake of their daughters; many others would fear the investigation of themselves.

Also, we don't know how many other prominent people went to Epstein's pervert island with him, Clinton of course is one of them. There must be others and Epstein may have some embarrassing evidence against them if need be.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens.

The Epstein case is the motherload of incriminating testimony and evidence against VIP assholes around the country. I’m sure he has blackmail evidence on everyone he does business with.

If you look at his history, this is not a fellow that made his money legally. So I agree that he has lots of blackmail evidence on his business associates.

I looked and it seems Epstein's court case was in 2006-2007. It definitely sounds like he got his sweetheart prison deal because he knew people. But, I'm starting to think maybe the biggest player in him getting off easy may have been the Clintons.

Hillary was a senator in 2001-2009, and she ran for president in 2008. I'm sure she was planning and strategizing to run for president for years before the 2008 election. In particular, years 2006 and 2007 she must have been busy preparing and campaigning.

If her husband Bill, who already had lied about his sexual encounters w/ young women in the 90's, would have faced another accusation of sex w/ young women due to his 26 lolita express boarding passes, it would have destroyed her chance at the presidency, and likely any future in politics. She always stood by him, which is very respectable of her, but also makes it harder for her to maintain plausible deniability of his actions, and his ways.

I think the Clintons had the pull, and certainly the motive, to keep Epstein quiet.

OR perhaps republicans are just 10 times as corrupt, regardless of what a bunch of liars on the internet tell you.

Hircus makes a good point; since Florida is a presidential swing state with enough electoral votes to be extremely important to Hillary, I bet not only she but ALL of the Democrats in Florida (e.g. Wasserman-Shultz) had an interest in him going away quietly.

If Epstein sung loudly enough in court, the shit hitting the fan would have splashed onto some prominent people who are Democrats, while maybe offending enough voters in the aftermath to be a significant side effect.

Either way, I can see many more reasons why everyone wanted Epstein to just go away quietly.

Yes, and let's face it, democrats have a much lower tolerance for their candidates and elected officials being scumbags than republicans do.

Proof you ask ?

Donald Trump.

I would suspect that Epstein has a insurance policy against being killed by having incriminating details set up to be released upon his death.
