Andy Ngo, sub-editor for Quillette, was on Tucker Carlson Tonight, reiterating his experience. As the crowd chanted, “No hate, no fear,” Ngo said, “A mob of people all dressed in black, wearing masks, started beating me with their fists, and some of them used objects to hit me.” Pictures support his account. He said his camera was “stolen” from him. They blinded him with eggs, when they got in his eyes. “I was kicked some more. I was punched some more.”

The New York Times Ngo story did not go into the extent of Ngos’ injuries or the trauma he went through. Instead their story by Mike Baker concentrated on media reaction, in particular, right-wing politicians getting all over-excited about an attack on a journalist with a harmless milkshake.

In addition to framing the argument as the over-reaction on the right, the NYT article concentrated on whether or not the milkshake Ngo was pelted with contained “quick drying cement.”

Ngo spoke to political commentator Tucker Carlson Monday night, and he was visibly wounded on the head around his right eye, speaking haltingly, obviously shaken, and he said. a CT scan confirmed, “that I was… diagnosed with… a brain hemorrhage.” It was clear he suffered from neurological damage and as Tucker pointed out, Antifa is a group CNN has defended. Then he asked Ngo if he received any support from, outside of Andrew Yang “from any other Democratic official office holders either in Portland or nationally?” and Ngo said, “Not that I know of.”

So whether the milkshakes contained cement or not, there is no doubt he was seriously injured. Bleeding on the brain is no laughing matter, and what was his crime?

Why did Antifa attack Ngo?
