Ha ha ha! Nothing says "safety" like a large (previously) homeless population moving into your neighborhood!

Also, with and open-borders and sanctuary-state mentality, there is no amount of additional housing that will end homelessness. House your 60k homeless people and then 60k more will move in.

I should know, since I have a 1960 ranch with 2 car garage. It has fallen in value to $1.95 MM in the last year, but with lower interest rates, who knows? I call it my "shack" at work, but at least it is walking distance to the Apple spaceship.

Don't forget... you also get 0.15 acres of land! That's better than the newer neighborhoods where you get 0.10 acres of land.
