Massive police brutality.
The same French Left that is like lightening to accuse brutality on or in the US-Mex Border, Ferguson, Gaza, etc. nowhere to be seen.
The rest oft he Western Media barely paying attention.
Use of Force, Armored Cars & Aircraft dispensed Teargas, not seen since 1968

Yet The protests continue day after day, now in their 10th Week.

The protesters complain of red tape, ridiculously low government price controls on Ordinary Self-Employed People (Ambulance Drivers, Taxi Drivers), underfunding of public services, but sky high taxes set to go higher "For the Planet", while refugees are housed by the millions.

When you see Paris, you are seeing the BEST conditions in France, because Europeans overfund their capitals for prestige. Unlike the USA which does not.

Uh no... Yellow jackets are leftists who want: free gov services without taxes, lots of government jobs, high salaries without doing more work, etc...
They want highly regulated positions for taxis drivers, earning high wages out of scarcity maintained by law.

Macron is a right wing reformer, who liberalized jobs like taxis and notaries, and is pushing down wages.
Macron is a fiscal conservative hawk with his finger on Frances high debt levels, and who raises taxes as a consequence.

Watch Macron attempt to reform the government next, which is guarantied to be super unpopular with the same leftists.

The attempt to pass this as a "Trump style" anti establishment revolt doesn't quite fit. Sorry.

It sure is. There's millions of young people in France that have had no "Training" - at least the Macrons are honest about Shortages of the Educated being BS in a neoliberal economy. And, Ambulance Drivers have had no rate increase in decades, plural. Then, Macron says France is no longer going to pay independent drivers or small businesses, but have the Hosptials employ Drivers... meaning they will keep much of that never-readjusted fee-for-service payment. It's a trick to redistribute income from workers to the Health System, an undercover tax. Also, L'Ecole Nationale de Administration students hate trying to control thousands of independents, would rather play with the levers for a few big entities.
