Cop sees a car thief armed with a gun. Orders him to show his hands, and he flees. A thief with a gun evading arrest is a danger to the community. Should the cop have waited until he took a hostage? What if the hostage was a MeToo, transgender Guatemalan asylum seeker? Then the liberals would have shrieked "Kill the bastard!". Ditto the shooting of the knife wielding law-breaker in Chicago. These "victims" bring it on themselves.
