The official narrative is that women are innocent victims that are always abused by powerful men. And surely it's surely partly true, but women also have agency, they have sexual appeal, and some are more than willing to use it to advance their careers. If what we care about is meritocracy, then many women are cheating, in ways men couldn't. There is very little innocence on both sides.
