The interesting thing in Florida is you never know who is going to be armed.
Last week a 22 year old tried to car jack a guy who had his child in the car. The carjacker was shot and killed.
I have a concealed permit and can carry one around if I feel like it. I live in such a safe area it's a little ridiculous, so I keep it in my car center console.
Back in California I will carry pepper spray if I'm in San Francisco and think the homeless are getting aggressive.
