Knowing that I'm a huge fan of red wine, my wife got me a Zinfandel vine a few years ago and we planted it in front. Finally got enough grapes to make a tiny bit of wine.

And it's OK, quite tart and yeasty, but that makes sense because it's not aged at all, and I probably overdid the yeast. But has a pleasant freshness to it as well.

Oh nice! Congrats.

Homemade wine would probably be a hit today.

You have a thoughtful wife. Looks OK. You might find simila pride in growing ganja. Cheap wine pick: 2014 Marchesi di Barolo del Monferrato Maraia. Jammy!

Thanks! It was just a week ago that I mashed them, and drinking it tonight.

Wish I could easily rotate those pictures to be the right way. Can't add style sheets because I've disallowed them.

Very Cool! I've seen a lot of people plant grapes in South Florida but don't know of any that has harvested Grapes from it.

Might be too humid there.

I have three huge vines summer royal, flame, and champagne. Your yard looks kind of wild you should turn it into a permaculture food forest.

I'm sure there are grapes that would grow there. TPB you should grow black pepper (piper nigrum) I've been given plants from Florida but I don't have the humidity, though now I have my greenhouse working pretty good might try again.

It's Patnet Pruno! Don't think it will make the Napa ten best list anytime soon.

Maybe a panel of ex-cons from San Quentin will give it a five star rating.

You need to start learning how to make Yam Wine for cannibal anarchy.
