There's a big fuss over the printed 3D Gun is it protected under the 1st A and the 2nd A and I say yes to both. The first one unconditionally the second one conditionally.
We can't have untraceable plastic guns running amok in our public places.
They should be allowed to be printed, but the owner of such a gun has a great responsibility to keep it at home or in other environments suited for either personal protection or a gun range. I think if you transport it in a car, it has to be in a clear marked box, bag or packaging. You must inform the officer you have it if you are pulled over. They should not be allowed in public places, even in an open carry State. I think if you get caught with one in an airport or another sensitive place where metal detectors are in place to prohibit or track guns. Then a hefty fine and hard prison sentence is order. I would go as much as 10 years for carrying one in a public place. You can still print up a 100 of them as long as you keep them home, transport them responsibly and only carry them to places where they would be used like a shooting range. Or a Texas open carry BBQ Festival. Can't stick it in your pants though. And one other thing, the 3D printer filament has to be made with material that has ATF registered markers. Markers that show up on the bullets fired from it.

Now I know some 2A'ers would huff and puff about this sensible plan. But given the alternative I'd rather this 2A battle be lost.
Sure you guys are great defenders of our constitutional rights. But you wont say a Goddamn word when I'm squatting over a mirror in an Indianapolis Airport spreading my But Cheeks for the TSA agent just to fly domestic. So I've got a bit of a feelz about it too.

Here's what get's me about the 2A guys, they push back calling everything the first step to registering guns, then it being a gun grab.
But I have a couple questions for those guys, that always default to that tried and true standard.
So if the Government decided today anyway to take away our guns, would you comply? Would you show up at the police station and turn all of your guns in? If they showed up at your house for them, would you tell them you have them, or would you say you sold them years ago?
If they made people register guns, and then they decided to make guns illegal, again would you hand them over? Would you tell them they got stolen a while back?

Regardless how we get there, the government trying to take away your guns, is why we have guns in the first place. And you better not be trying to whine piss and moan and cry how it ain't fair. You best be getting ready to put the Founding Father's theory to the test and take it to the American Independence War Part 2. That's where the rubber hits the road. That's when I'm on board. That's when we all say we've had enough. Regardless if there are sensible gun laws in place or not. We've seen in our lifetimes good Countries go to shit and the insane Liberals rub the citizen's noses in the shit they create after they take their guns. We wont let that happen, or if we respond by whining about our 2A feels while not actually doing anything to protect our rights and our dignity, they just might take our guns.
But that's no reason not to have sensible traceable gun laws.

The Shitshow we've allowed our public places to become just amazes me, the NRA says nothing until something anything about guns hits the news, then they are great defenders of the Constitution.

Aphroman says
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

I think it would be cool if every town had an Amory where you bring and store your own gear. And can go to train and drill,
If everybody was a Hardened Warrior bad ass then there wouldn't be any bad asses.

This whole printed 3D gun crap is a bunch of nonsense. No one has ever been shot by one. The cost to actually print one is out of the reach of most everyone.

Printed 3D guns on the street are as rare as flying a airplane into a tall building.

If you need a illegal gun, just go hit the streets of Shitcago, there's plenty to go around.

Will never, ever happen. The manpower it would take doesn't exist.

If they showed up at your house f

The first few that would try and do that will leave in body bags. Good luck getting any other LEO to go door to door after that. These guys just want to go home to their families at night.

Most guns are already registered and they know what's out there.

That's what's coming, are you prepared?

Your gun aint going to help you if a Civil War ever breaks out. It wont be a two sided affair. You could have 4 factions just in your neighborhood alone. And only temporary allies with one, but if you shoot one of the other groups. You then make an enemy out of your only ally, because maybe they liked them better.

As for having to ever arm against our Government, I don't think the cops or Army would do that. And if our society ever gets complacent enough to get there.
Then I'll be headed for the deepest patch of woods I can find. I'm not sticking around for that.

Not concerned, because one side has all the guns and ammo, the other side just has transgendered bathrooms.

As far as I can tell, most so-called 3D-printed guns are no more lethal than "potato canons" made of PVC pipes. In fact, you can easily go to Home Depot and make some kind of higher muzzle velocity launchers out of metal tubes, and a little propane gas or even gasoline as propellant.

Gun control was an early-to-mid 20th century technology phenomenon: mass production technology introduced a nexus in making personal weapons, the mass production gun makers. Very soon, both electronic lasers and electromagnetic rail guns powered by capacitors or solid state high current batteries (technology necessary for soon-to-be-here fast charging car batteries) will enable easy home manufacturing of personal weapons, at which point "gun control" will be quite infeasible.

The difference between citizens vs. slaves/serfs/helots is that citizens are legally allowed to arm themselves.

The M134's ancestor, the original Gatling Gun, was invented by Richard Gatling, who was a private inventor and tinkerer not a gun-maker or even gun-smith. He adapted the design of his seed planter to gun barrels, and the result was the Gatling Gun, the first rapid-fire machine gun in the world. It came about more or less the same way the two Steves came up with the original Apple computer in a garage, except Gatling had even less prior experience with making guns than Woz had with making computers.

This isn't about if guns should be legal or not, that's settled.
But a plastic untracable gun, come on. I say the Pro Gun cabal needs to work with Sensible gun legislation.
For every provision they want to make to make guns safer or they feel would keep them from the wrong hands.
The NRA should agree then put forth a pro Gun legislation to go along with it.
Like Background checks for guns, I would say OK, but then we get National CWP and guns are legal in every state.
They want guns registered, OK but then we get broader Stand your ground laws.

Here's what I don't get about the NRA crowd. For the petty little squabbles they hang on to, they don't give a fuck when safety is then shifted to everyone else.
Because we don't know who's fucking nuts, with a gun or not comming into the airport of public space. The rest of us are treated like cattle with no fucking rights what so ever.
Dropping our droors, getting gropped being nuked in the microwave. It's fucking nonsense the NRA doesn't say fuck all about that.

I'll tell you why they DON'T!!!!
Because they are the ones selling the hardware for the Alphebet Agencies to prod, poke and stick you with. And if they get a runner, they also are selling them the guns to shoot his ass in the back.

It's fucking nuts, we need to throw the idiots out and bring adults to the table. Bush and his DHS motherfuckers need to go to jail and we need to revisit that whole fucking thing.

We fire the TSA wholly across the board and start over. And that fat lard ass fucking Ape from the Sheriffs department every law enforcement agency sends to their Airports needs to be the first Stupid son of a bitch to get sacked. What does that moron do, what's his Job? To stand in the way of a bottlenecked terminal queue and hold everyone up while he instructs them how to walk through a metal detector. If there were a terrorists he would be the first idiot that gets shot between the eyes, as the terrorist ran on to do what ever damage he came to do.

You go to Other countries that Useless sack of shit is not there. Instead they have sensible personnel with Automatic weapons off to the side flanking both side of the terminal. You try to pull some shit like that, they will the drop on you. Look at Ft Lauderdale last year, that guy that pulled out a gun at baggage claim and killed a few people.
That would never happen in somewhere like Malaysia KL, Japan Nerita airports. They have many armed gaurds with their machine guns in their hands ready for some shit. And not just at the departure terminal but everywhere in the airport. It looks like a dystopia 80's movie where the airport is occupied by the millitary.

It's stupid we only have them at the arrival gate in America and the stupid son of a bitch is standing right in the middle of the bottleneck barking out orders like a fucking moron.
It's a metal detector Lil' Abner now get out of the fucking WAY! This wouldn't be a problem if people grew a brain and realized the NRA isn't looking out for the best interests, they are the side of the guys selling our government all of this invasive bullshit. OH BUT don't infringe on some obscure nuance of their gun rights feelz.

It seems to me at this point, our government would come take their guns if they took a notion and nothing would happen. That same NRA gun crowd are most agreeable over Commie Fascist shit like that time and time again. They just like resonating with the Liberals to win or lose elections when needed.

If you fuckers would grow a pair, I could get on board but the double standard for your outrage is silly.
