If you want to know how the economy is going to do in the future, look at how the poor are doing now.

If we can just deport us a few million undoumented immigrants, opening up a lot of jobs, cutting grass, cleaning homes, babysitting, and picking fruit and vegetable, doing non union lowest tier construction work, the poor folks will finally be on easy street again.

MAGA ! Trump is the only one that really cares about the working poor.

Mobile home owners are the paycheck to paycheck population.

Comparing them to regular homeowners is like comparing apples to hammers.

Considering the relative size of the SFR market relative to Mobile Homes, fuck yeah.

SFR delinquencies are still dropping even though they are lower than a decade ago.

Will that get the long term welfare dependents to finally take menial jobs to earn less than they get from the govt. for just having more kids?

Totally. I'm just wondering why there was a surge in mobile home loan delinquencies right at the time Trump got elected. Were the Trump voters so busy jerking off at their victory that they forgot to pay their bills?

I think that credit access has kept these people going, but credit is not filling the gaps of lost savings and ability to get ahead with wages or retirement funds. The poor are suffering more than ever and it will get worse because they are the ones the government and Trump could care less about.

You're confusing them with the Bernie supporting Socialists who thought Bernie would be paying their mobile home loans, along with free healthcare, free college, free retirement, free welfare, free.........

I'm waiting to see how long it takes them to get Pissed-off.

This is why they have easy access to opioid painkillers and very soon easy and legal access to marijuana.

I think there's a deep recession coming as soon as Trump gets his second term. For many years it was accepted that 1980-1982 was our worst recession postwar but for those who lived through it, we know 1974-1975 was worse. That was an oil recession and I suspect this next one will be real estate. Those of us who live in the SF Bay Area only have to look around us at the imbalances. It's coming.

You almost certainly are a Bay Area guy.

There are plenty of educated folks away from the coasts who voted for Trump. My father was middle management for an insurance company and his colleagues and retired upper management voted for him. I'm sure the real estate crowd and bankers did as well.

A friend of mine is director of informatics at Berkeley Lab and he says it's all about neuro chemistry. Lefties are wired wrong. They're broken. This explains the link between the left and kids, female most of the time. I really think a lot of it is hormonal and tends to be prevalent among those who come from upper middle class families or even old money...you know, those who have never had to struggle or don't understand that most people's money is earned. One of my classmates from HS rants and raves about the latest left wing this, that or the other and when I look in her eyes, you know she's going into menopause. Her daughter just got her RN and is off to India to study yoga. I could hook either one of them to a three axis autopilot and still never get them to fly straight and level. Tracie was always loopy and her daughter will be the same way.

Politics is cyclical but this is gonna be a long one. Trump is stocking the Federal bench with his people and there are a ton of openings to fill.

There's only one way to deal with the hard left and that's from a position of overwhelming strength. We all want to live in a civil society but with the chronically angry crowd or the worst of the kids you have to let them know who's in charge. Figuratively speaking, you want them to know they would be totally expendable if they got out of line. Their peckers are in our pockets as LBJ used to say. Command and control. You're in command and they're on their knees. Nasty but that's where we are. Without Obama, there could have been no Trump. I tell these people over and over...they did this. You and I are merely responding do it.
