https://drhurd.com/2018/01/31/trump-derangement-syndrome/ Trump Derangement Syndrome is hatred. It’s hatred of anything associated with opposition, dissension or departure from all things related to government activism and “social justice”.

Seen plenty of that lately.
The blind unthinking rage is just despicable.

I like this idea of setting my phone's wifi ID to "TRUMP".

Will prolly result in an epidemic of strokes in San Francisco.

Whenever somebody tells you to STFU and take responsibility for yourself, they deserve hatred.

"It’s hatred and loathing for anything that challenges what they believe. Because when you question the beliefs or views of someone with Trump Derangement Syndrome, you have blown a fan on the psychological house of cards propping up their faux self-esteem."

"
It’s hatred of capitalism. It’s hatred of individual rights. It’s hatred of the Constitution, as it was originally conceived with severely limited powers for the federal government, and no income tax. Even if Donald Trump does not always stand for these things, he represents a departure from the consistent socialist/Communist line now espoused by most Democrats."
9   Onvacation   2018 Feb 5, 12:12pm

"
Like most distorted emotions, Trump Derangement Syndrome is based on irrational fear. To the Democrats who acted like sullen children during President Trump’s State of the Union address, the fear is of losing power. Their neurotic sense of power comes from feeling superior. The way they get to feel superior is by making people dependent on government programs that enhance their own sense of superiority and power. It also makes them financially wealthy, causing them to lash out at the rich they despise because on some level, they have got to despise themselves for becoming what they claim to loathe."
11   Onvacation   2018 Feb 6, 6:21am

"
President Trump and his supporters threaten them because they stand in the way of unlimited government growth, spending and regulation mandated and managed by socialist Democrats. He is brash, blunt and not afraid to treat them as the phony sycophantic power-lusters they plainly are. Perhaps Donald Trump’s greatest offense, in their eyes, is that he truly does not want or need any of this. He values the country and what remains of our Constitution, but he does not value what they crave."

Is this value the same value and vision that the Koch brothers have in mind for the country and the constitution ?

Cmon BAO, that doesn’t even make sense. Referencing the opinions of a NeverTrumper as a suggestion of what Trumpian policies should be?

The question that you dodged was how do the value's and vision of the koch bro's differ from trump's. The answer is not at all. Trump's polices at this point are almost 100% aligned with the koch bro's desires. The trump cabinet, other than a couple generals, is strictly koch organization alumni. People change alliances all the time in politics depending on what the advantage is. The koch bro's are far from being never trumpers today.

This. This. This and more of this. No one likes losing or not getting their way, human instinct for the most part. To varying degrees everyone on earth is just trying to get "theirs" and some will go about doing that anyway they can. Including completely ignoring their past positions, morals, ethics, etc.

I mean, it was a while ago I suppose, but we had a guy with the last name of Hitler think killing off the Jews would make his world better. And I'm not likening Trump to Hitler, so don't come at me with that. Just making a point that people will literally try to wipe out portions of the population because they simply "think" it will make their life better.

Fortunately for us humans, the genocide guys are starting to be fewer and far between. I just wish someone would come along in power and think pizza should be free for everyone to make a better world. I'd get on board with that.

You got your tense wrong. This Koch bro's and all their compatriots have already bought the government of their choice. Th only trick for the ultra rich libertarians will be keeping the boneheads they bought a seat for in congress from overplaying their hand so badly they get thrown out.

To the corrupt who rule our Imperial City, Donald Trump is the real enemy. He reminds them of what they are. He makes Democrats in particular wild with rage. That’s why they will not stop until they destroy him. Because if he prevails, all they’re about will wither away."

"If Trump succeeds, they will not matter. Not only will their power diminish. They will have to confront the fact they have lived parasitical, wasted lives in a corrupt city mooching off the talents, brains and efforts of real people. The truth hurts. Especially those who have denied objective reality and simple truths for their entire lives."

When you see that look of hatred on the faces of Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats, it’s not really about Donald Trump. It’s fear and self-loathing with nowhere to go. It’s misery, the same misery they’ve inflicted on others reflected back into themselves.

If only they would go away, how much better off our country would be."

they deserve hatred

I don't think anyone deserves hatred for anything they say. This is actually the sum of my religion:

“If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?”
― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918-1956

There's another fundamental belief I have a hard time expressing. Still hoping some poet puts it better, but it's basically like this: You cannot even see things which threaten your own selfish motives. There is a reality distortion filter that we all have, and we are mostly dishonest to ourselves and others about the existence of that filter. We clump together into groups with similar filters, often religions, but not just that. It's obvious to every member of the group that they are right, because they are all willfully blind to the possibility that their self-interest is warping their perception. Here's the best way I've heard this put so far:

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”
― Upton Sinclair, I, Candidate for Governor: And How I Got Licked

Yea but, that extra $20-30 a week will buy a lot of #MAGA hats, and reinvigorate the waning Muh Hillary bowel movement.

Can’t make America Great Again without spending most your time whinging about the Clintons.

The question none of the Trump Dick Suckers can ever answer is why weren’t they Making America Great prior to January 2017? Why didn’t they help to Make America Great in 2015? Or 2010?
25   Tenpoundbass   2018 Feb 11, 10:40am

Liberals need to learn and understand. We didn't elect Trump for the Swamp Democrats to spend 4 years vetting for an interview. Trump got the job, it's them they are fired.

When Trump fails to deliver then we'll start criticizing Trump, we trust Trump. Because the current people serving in Washington have a long track record of untrustworthy service.

We sent Trump to Washington to send them home. Trump is the President and they are not. Time everyone understands that.

It does for the smart people, who took advantage of the new tax plan and paid their taxes early in 2017. They'll get a bigger deduction for 2017.

For ten years. 10 years is an eternity when dealing with the assholes in DC. Any chance there might be some "tweaking" of the tax plan in the next ten years?

Here's another hint, people who pay the MOST taxes will probably get the BIGGEST benefit. Amazing, isn't it.

Unless, should we give BIGGER tax breaks to the 47% of people who pay ZERO federal taxes now?

The mentality of a TDS often manifests itself with a viceral loathing of a mogul turned president who, I think, would like to better the lot of ALL Americans while these same TDS sufferers are protecting the very politicians who have become filthy rich through "public service".
Trump was elected because we did not want to be serviced by Hillary anymore.

You should have seen the looks on my coworkers faces when the tax cut hit their paycheck. I personally get a bit more than a hundred a paycheck more...and my actual annual reduction in federal taxes paid will be more like $3500. One ardent Dem supporter flipped and claimed that her taxes were going way up. Of course I know she bought her home in the mid 90's(the absolute sweet point in time to have bought in LA). So I mentioned the $10,000 cap and she flipped saying how she no longer would be able to deduct her car payment and bunch of other shit she wasn't supposed to be itemizing.

Anywho, I noticed, my Dem supporting wife noticed. When my ardent dem supporting stepdaughter files her taxes, I'm showing her mine and the roughly $18K in Federal and State taxes I pay each year(along with how much President Trump reduced my obligation by). Thanks to a shit media, she doesnt have any clue about what we actually pay in taxes.
36   anonymous   2018 Feb 11, 7:55pm

Here’s a hint for clueless Trump supporters. A 14% permanent cut is much better than 1-3% temporary cut.

Let’s go REALLY slow so every Trump supporter will get this. This has been made into laws for months now and still.

Which is bigger? 3% or 14%?

(It’s not a trick question).
