When you begin to understand that many of the Peninsula home prices being advertised aren't real (meaning the owner would never sell for their asking price), then this becomes less surprising. Pricing low to create a frenzy and frustrate many would-be buyers is more common here than anywhere I've ever seen.
If the home sold for $782K above the 6mo comparable prices in that neighborhood, then that would be an interesting story.

It's interesting that they show both a listing agent and a buyer's agent. Does that mean you have to use the buyer agent of their choice? What a scam.
