A truism: The internet is nothing if not snarky. Senator Bernie Sanders found that out first hand this week.

The former candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination tweeted Thursday: "How many yachts do billionaires need? How many cars do they need? Give us a break. You can't have it all."

A number of Twitter users were quick to point out that the Vermont senator owns three houses, which doesn't quite elevate him to billionaire status—but doesn't put him among the masses, either.

Bernie wants to raise taxes on himself. He's saying he doesn't need to keep more of his money, and he is no where near a billionaire. Twitter is rich in bozos looking to point out inconsistencies even where none exist.

Bernie wants to raise taxes on himself.

Is that why he paid 13% in taxes-he could voluntarily stop taking deductions.

He's saying he doesn't need to keep more of his money,

Actions speak louder than words. A man paying 13% tax and buying a vacation home ona lake for more than a half a million dollars vs what spews out of his mouth -that should tell you all about him.

twitter points out the hypocricy of these bozos-something the mainstream media will not.

Bernie lost most of his credibility with me and the rest of the anti-establishment crowd when he sold out to the Clinton machine for money and a new house.

What a stupid thing to say! One person paying higher tax will not change anything,

Do you really not realize this, or you just couldn't resist using the standard 2 second BS soundbite used by conservative media personalities?

I am responding to someone saying Bernie wants to pay higher taxes-hey pay them-no one asked you to go to a good accountant and take all discounts and pay a 13% tax rates.
of course for dems lead by example is lost. No wonder they have such dumb leaders who say whatever theyw ant to say and then do something that is totally opposite. But dems are so sure of the leftie religion that nothing gets in their heads. They will vote for Attila the hun as long as he speaks their sound bites and then they make fun of others as speaking sound bites. You criticize people for having too much possessions and you have 3 homes?? LOL!!Trump it is 2020.

Bernie is a hypocrite if he can't settle for food stamps, a hound dog, and a gaggle of dazed hippie chicks with hairy pits, legs and billowing, huge bushes.

We have been around this bush before. If you still don't agree, maybe it would help to consider the analogous argument against people who advocate government cuts.

Can't say Bernie doesn't believe in free shit, because he took the free shit and ran with it.

Hypocrisy is hypocrisy- defense against hypocrisy is not -but he is a hypocrite too and so I am not.

Hypocrisy is hypocrisy-

In that case, anyone who wants to cut government funding should stop using public roads, reject social security payments, educate their own kids, etc. Anyone who doesn't is a hypocrite by your standards.

Easy there, you seem to forget that Bernie is entirely paid by taxpayer money and yet pays almost nothing in taxes, so net he drains the system of money without employing a single person. For somebody on the taxpayer payroll to come out swinging and looking like a hypocritical idiot like he did was a big mistake. May cost him.

Is 13% a low rate to pay? What % of the population pays more in federal taxes?

Except the taxes you pay on fuel are used to build roads.

The same people that want to cut the federal spending want to cut local spending too. None of those people ever refuse public services. Does that make them a hypocrite? If you apply the same logic you talking points parrots use to complain about Bernie, then yeah. Of course that logic is flawed. Maybe seeing it used on the other side will help some see the light.

Do you ever read what you post,

Do try to keep up. You've been up my ass since Dan put you on ignore. At least try to make some sense if you want a response. It's not my logic. I'm simply showing what would happen if your team applied its logic consistently.
