Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s $345 Million Divorce: “This Could Be One Of Hollywood’s Dirtiest Divorces Ever” (EXCLUSIVE)

Portia de Rossi has finally had enough. After eight years of her wife Ellen DeGeneres’ controlling behavior, the pair have been “arguing more than ever,” an insider tells In Touch — and are finally heading for a divorce.

And it’s going to be messy.

“They’ve had heated debates about Ellen’s controlling behavior and her anger issues,” the source says. “They fight over Ellen’s drinking, her lavish spending — mostly on real estate — plus her busy work schedule and how she doesn’t want Portia to work.”

While they try desperately to maintain the facade of a happy marriage, divorce is “imminent” according to the insider — and it’s not going to be easy due to Ellen’s $345 million fortune.

This divorce may answer once and for all who is going to get preferential treatment when gay marriage ends in divorce: The crazy one, or the one that is playing the role of the man.

All that drama and there isn't even kids involved!?!?

3   Ceffer   2016 Nov 17, 11:38pm

This divorce is going to be a bitch. Or bitches. I'm confused.

They'll both claim to be the woman to get the most favorable treatement.

@Patrick: Did you fix my headline problem behind the scenes? I got an error message that looked like it was related to the existence of the apostrophe in the title. when I tried to edit to add the string DIvorce: to the titlle. But then the error went away.

No such post: Divorce: You\\'re the man, Ellen DeGeneres!

Tabloid lie, published originally and repeatedly by In Touch whenever they feel like boosting circulation to rubes.

"In actuality, it’s In Touch that’s playing dirty. DeGeneres and de Rossi are not on the brink of divorce. They weren’t when the tabloid previously claimed it in October, in 2015, and in years past."

I've seen PatNetters post all sorts of lies and fake rumors, without bothering to check them, and this is merely another example in the ever-growing list. If you want to read about celebrities and their marriages, read People or Perez Hilton or Us Weekly, but check for confirmation or at least corroboration before believing anything.

Hmm, that is possible, curious2. The story was via Yahoo news, which perhaps is not reliable.

I stand by my opinion, though, that Ellen is the man, and Porta De Rossi is the crazy one ;)

When lesbians get divorced, who gets the house?

9   Rin   2016 Nov 18, 5:35am

There is no Ellen DeGeneres ... it's Ellen Degenerate!

This was also echoed by Pink Floyd, a couple of generations ago, 'There is no Dark Side of the Moon, really; as a matter of fact, it's all dark.'

I thought I fixed the apostrophe problem couple of weeks ago. If you get an old post with an apostrophe, I'm not sure if that's fixed though.

12   Patrick   2016 Nov 18, 7:18am

Crap, definitely not fixed. If you try to edit and save it doesn't work.

Sorry, that's not the way it works. They are both women.

14   HEY YOU   2016 Nov 18, 8:26am

We all know the old joke:

Let LBGTQs get married & be as miserable as the rest of us.

15   Patrick   2016 Nov 18, 8:28am

@justme thanks for telling me about the apostrophe problem. Now you an edit and save this post and it should work OK.

Please let me know about other bugs, or desired features too.

16   justme   2016 Nov 18, 9:33am

@Patrick, I can confirm that apostrophes work again. What was extremely strange this time was that edit/save gave me the error message, and then for what seemed like a minute or two, I could not get into the thread at all to try and remove the apostrophe (I think it said that the thread does not exist, maybe partly due to thread-by-name-not-number scheme and a name mismatch, but not certain). Then suddenly the thread was accessible again, and the edit was included , which made me think you had manually intervened, perhaps. But now I think maybe the auto-refresh is what fixed the post (until you came along and fixed the bug altogether). It seems strange that the auto-refresh would fix it, but what do I know.

Anyway, I just wanted to explain how the buggy behavior played out in case that provided some insight. You probably knew all this already. Thanks much as always!

In many homosexual relationships, but perhaps not all, there is one person that is the sex-object and one person that is the provider-object, just like in heterosexual relationships.

And just like in heterosexual relationship, the objectification of the provider-object is not recognized by society, but the so-called objectification of the sex-object is broadly denounced as a sin, and the sex-object gets all kinds of preferential treatment. That was the whole point of my post, but perhaps I was being to subtle?

Indeed, and let's not forget the bicycle. It looks like Portia still wants her bicycle.

Personally, I think this is not only true, it is hard-coded into the human brain.

Men are disposable, simply because they are not the bottleneck to reproduction.

There's no such thing as a "marriage" between homosexuals. God created man and woman to complement each other: 2 of the same IRRITATE each other. There is a great deal of promiscuity, suspicion, jealousy, inordinate violence and murder in the homo community. This is because the relationship is fundamentally unstable. THIS all is what is happening between these 2 dykes. Sadly, Portia will pay the price of wasting her child-bearing years on an old dyke shaking her fist at society in a social experiment trying to prove she is right and they are wrong. Thus Portia will pay this price for her sin; she will not bear a child as she so hopes, as God is not mocked. God created marriage so man may not re-create it. No society in the world has accepted homosexuality as mainstream; and, despite Obama's ruling (King Obama), homosexual marriage will NEVER be mainstream. The homosexual community themselves will make it fail. Degeneres' earlier relationship failures, those of O'Donnell, that of Johnny Weir, etc., all show the enormous stress and transience of these "matings". They do not work. Finally, these players will one day stand before God and account for their lifestyle. Obama will, as well. According to Scripture, they will be cast into the Lake of Fire and suffer for all Eternity.

Again, fake news, as already noted above.

As for the charlatan/moron who posted the lies immediately above, I am only curious who "liked" that crap. If you like swallowing crap, then there is plenty available. Sometimes, the "like" button can serve as a bigoted moron identifier. Half of heterosexual marriages end in divorce; 2/3 of the President's marriages have ended in divorce. Meanwhile, Ellen and Portia remain legally married, and AFAIK happily so.

This all goes back to a lack of kindergarten education. Over 35 states do not require kindergarten attendance.

Kindergarten attendance requirement:
Fifteen states plus D.C. require children to attend kindergarten at age five or require kindergarten attendance prior to enrolling in first grade.
Thirty-five states do not require kindergarten attendance.

Where else are kids going to learn that round objects do not go into square cutouts, and that holes don't go into holes, sticks go into holes...
