"Former CIA director Michael Hayden believes there is a legitimate possibility that the U.S. military would refuse to follow orders given by Donald Trump if the Republican front-runner becomes president and decides to make good on certain campaign pledges."

"“I would be incredibly concerned if a President Trump governed in a way that was consistent with the language that candidate Trump expressed during the campaign,” Hayden said during the interview with Maher."

Former CIA doofus said that did he?

I would check what he charged for speaking fees yesterday, then see what he is charging today.

Speaker fees makes people say some funny things. Aye Mrs. Clinton?

He was in charge of the NSA during Bush the 2nd's reign and has a lot of experience in the war on terror. I think he knows what he is talking about.

Oh was this after the guy that did do water boarding?

Oh he's the Liberal bitch boy that Bush replaced the effective guy that knew how to prevent Boston.

We don't need the CIA Trump can sell lotto tickets to raise money to pay down the deficit.
If you win the lotto you get to be creative and come up with information extraction measures.

We dole out justice in an abandoned soccer field then send the Youtube videos back to the Jihad bastards, so they can see what it looks like seeing people strung up and tortured over their beliefs.

I'll ride around in a white jeep in the back ground indiscriminately firing an automatic weapon in the air.
That seems to be effective it made effeminate feckless jackwagons out of the whole of the UK.

Scumbag.

Totally anti-civil liberties, totally in the pocket of the Wahabi Lobby, kowtows to Hillary.

I think the CIA still has a few of the mercury core rounds they used to blow Kennedy's skull off lying around.

Coup D'Etat!

"Should one take a very legalistic view of torture rather than say what you did was wrong?

That's a totally honorable position. I get that. What I don't get is someone who says, "By the way, it didn't work anyway."

I would say we got information from the people against whom we used enhanced interrogation techniques. We moved them from a zone that was pretty much represented by defiance to a zone where they were more compliant, more willing to talk about the things we believed we needed to know to keep the country safe."

The problem with Bush's administration was the Soldiers were disrespectful to the prisoners, that should have never taken place.
But there should be official interrogators, that sends pure terror down the spine of the terror suspects and sympathizers supporters. The sound of those folks walking down the the hall with a different sounding key ring jingle should be enough to make those Jihad bastards weep with fear and promise to come clean to the "Good Cop" if they just don't let that "bad Cop" anywhere near them again.

Iran made our Navy sailors cry and then took pictures of them. Trump is right the world is laughing at Obama and the Liberal pansies.

Good. Then the military can have a dishonorable discharge. From the budget

PLENIPOTENTIARY FOR LIFE TRUMPLIGULA!

His first problem will be establishing the SS because they will all be rounded up and thrown into Guantanamo and somewhere in Poland to join the jihadis as enemy combatants.

12   Ceffer   2016 Mar 29, 3:36pm

The military is just holding out for a better deal, because they know Trumpligula will have an impossible time becoming dictator for life without them.

So much noise to try to prevent Trump from getting nomination. Those boys upstairs are working overtime, don't know what message to make up that might catch attention of a fly that cares.

Can't wait till Trump beats Hillary and becomes a president. Hillary is spending a lot of money to make sure it's her and not Bernie, and Republicans are sure doing the same for Trump. Funny how establishment hates our choices.

14   HydroCabron   2016 Mar 29, 5:38pm

I think that any military officer refusing to obey legal presidential orders should be relieved of duty.

If I wanted to live under a junta, I would move to South America.

Trump has said he would do illegal things. The military is required not to follow direct orders if the orders are illegal. This is not the first time somebody has pointed this out. That is why Trump has back tracked on his threats to kill terrorist family members.

16   Ceffer   2016 Mar 29, 6:44pm

The military can tell the difference between heinously barbaric and legal?

The Founding Fathers would be ashamed.

17   rpanic   2016 Mar 29, 6:53pm

What happened to the days of our enemy's accidentally falling helicopters and airplanes, seatbelts?

Want to give some examples?

Torture and intentionally targeting innocent people. Both illegal. I see this is not a new person bringing this up. It's just an old story.

Also, if they knew someone was innocent, why would they be intentionally targeted?

Ask trump

So, what's your solution to get important intel without torture?

There is no quick way. The TV show 24 was not real.

Nope, ever see the movie A Few Good Men?

Classic. Another in a long line of top notch posts from CIC
