Zimbabwe Grants Chinese Yuan Official Currency Status

Zimbabwe announced this past summer that it would be phasing out the Zimbabwe dollar and many thought that the U.S. dollar would get the nod as the country’s official currency. The Zimbabwe/Chinese Yuan deal highlights that the dollar isn’t the only currrency in town.

Tim Aurora says
Its a pity for the last 70 odd years under American leadership, the world has been a peaceful and prosperous place. Now thanks to Obama, he has hastened the decline of America and gladly handed over the reins to Russia and China. The worst president ever

Fixed. Trump is trying to claw us back.

Yep, they're picking out real gems. Who's next - Venezuela?

@Patrick, this thread is another example of uncivil-button abuse and censorship. None of comments 6 or 11 were "uncivil", but they still got marked as such buy some nameless dishonest idiot.

I marked 6 uncivil in response to 11 marked uncivil. Since 11 was replying to 6, and an unscrupulous poster could jail dissenting comments like 11 until a moderator can release them as civil, I figured I’d even the playing field and mark the original as uncivil as well. That way nobody “wins” until both are released from jail.

Right, anyone could mark something as uncivil. I need to be better about liberating unfairly jailed comments.
