I used to think I knew people who were more fun when shit-faced. But after enough drunks hang their arm over your shoulder and tell you they love you, or wave a finger in your face and say they hate you, it's clear it's just the booze talking. Alcohol breath is repulsive, and maudlin or aggressive drunks are just annoying.

Had the guy been black the charge would have been felony battery as opposed to misdemeanor assault with 100K bail minimum. This guys bail was 500 dollars. If someone gave him bond it would be 5 dollars.
