"Debbie Wasserman Schultz Again Won’t Explain Difference Between Democrats and Socialists"

Dan is really good about telling us that "we are too stupid" to understand the difference between a Progressive, Liberal and a Democrat. Maybe he can help the head of the Democrat National Committee with an answer?

Considering Chris Matthews leanings, I give him a lot of credit for pushing that line of questioning.

I wish Sean Hannity would grow a pair and do the same thing with stupid Republicans. I'd love to see John Behnoer lose it during an interview.

Call it Crazy says

....Asked this week by MSNBC’s Chris Matthews to describe if there is any difference, Wasserman Schultz was unable to explain it, instead focusing on the obvious distinctions between her party and the Republicans.

NBC’s Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd pressed the DNC chairwoman with that same exact question on Sunday morning, and she once again failed to explain the difference.

Of course, while the difference is actually quite simple to explain — see here — it poses a problem for DWS because agreeing that Dems are different from democratic socialists would outright suggest Sanders does not belong in her party’s primary.

She skirted and spun away from that question faster than a cat does from a rocking chair!

She didn't want to answer it because it's similar to someone asking the RNC head what the difference is between the Republican party and the Nazi party. If you answer it, you give tacit acknowledgement of the underlying assumption that there are some similarities.

The difference, as everyone who passed 8th grade knows--is that the Democratic platform does not include State ownership of all means of production.

Yet - we have Bernie Sanders a self described "Socialist" who has caucused with the Democrat party for decades running for President on the Democratic ticket.

At the very least, shouldn't Bernie be asked this question?

A socialist is serious as a heart attack about their shit. While Liberal's like to say Socialist shit, well because that's what they do, they lie, they all do. They lie about their race, your position on race, they even lie about Obamacare. To hear them tell it, it's helping people.

The Democratic Convention 2016 -- where saying "all lives matter" makes a crowd of people come after you like Schwarzenegger going after Sarah Connor

Fuckin Debbie What's her face Slutz, there's anotherone that could use a good old fasioned tared and feather'n and ran out of town on a pole.

She can't explain her own party's bullshit, but she's got all the right buzz words about everyone else.

She went on to say that Republicans stand for "extremism" and that's why "Donald Trump is their front-runner."

Wasserman Schultz was pressed on the Democrat/socialist distinction since Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described socialist, is running for the Democratic presidential nomination and drawing large crowds in the process.

When first asked the question by Matthews, the DNC leader said the "relevant debate" is the difference between Democrats and Republicans.

I'm sure she didn't know when matthews asked her.
afterwards she did a google hit job to get current.
but answering it when asked again would be tantamount to admitting her stupidity the first time around, so she was forced to give the same answer again to make it sound like that was her intention the first time around.

If you don't apologize for your straight white male privilege on a daily basis you are simply doing it wrong!

given the amount of federal, state, city, and county taxes imposed on businesses, governments already own all businesses and are merely renting them out to the proprietors...

That doesn't even make sense. The government owns the business but is renting out the profits?

What's the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist?

Nothing.

What's the difference between War Party Of The Rich Republicans and War Party Of The Rich Democrats ? Absolutely no difference.

16   tatupu70   2015 Aug 4, 7:26am

The last two comments are pretty funny actually.

One poster says there's no difference between Democrats and Socialists.

The next poster then says there's no difference between Republicans and Democrats (which seems to be a view many here share).

Doesn't it follow then that there's no difference between Republicans and Socialists?

It's all there to be seen. The War Party Of The Rich and all. Willful ignorance is the choice of the majority. America will get what it deserves. Soon.
