You liberals with your appeasement policies are ruining this nation. I guess you won't get it, until someone crosses the border illegally and shoots up your kids specifically, and even then I bet you'll blame guns not the person.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/07/29/ohio-murder-suspect-in-country-illegally-ordered-not-to-be-detained-in-earlier/

CLEVELAND – U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents told Ohio sheriff's deputies weeks ago not to detain a man who is in the U.S. illegally and now suspected of killing a woman and wounding another during a crime spree, law enforcement officials said Tuesday.

Razo was arrested Monday after a shootout with police. A detective said during a court hearing Tuesday that Razo has confessed. A judge set his bond at $10 million.

Razo has been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of a 40-year-old woman Monday afternoon as she walked with her two children along a bike path in Concord Township. She was shot in the arm. Just over an hour later, a man told park rangers he'd found his wife, 60-year-old Margaret Kostelnik, shot to death in their home near the bike path.

The Lake County coroner said Kostelnik was shot multiple times.

The manhunt for Razo began late Monday morning after a 14-year-old girl told police he had tried to rape her in another section of the park. The Lake County prosecutor said evidence in the slaying of Kostelnik and the attempted rape will be presented to a grand jury.

A public defender entered a not guilty plea for Razo on Tuesday.

Yup. But in CA this illegal can legally become a lawyer.

2   FNWGMOBDVZXDNW   2015 Jul 29, 10:24am

Do you realize that it's been about 6 weeks since the Donald made those remarks?

In that time, 2300 men have committed suicide by shooting themselves. I'm glad they had those guns to protect themselves against the illegals coming after their women **rolleyes**. About 1100 murders have also been committed using guns in that time. Two incidents have now been held up with glee to prove the Donald was correct. I'm sure there have been many more that have escaped notice, but you are focusing on one murder and one attempted murder/rape while there have been about 2400 other gun-related deaths.

You are correct. Some people just don't get it... but it's not the liberals.

3   marcus   2015 Jul 29, 11:37am

According to Trump, Ann Coulter and others there are 30 million undocumented immigrants in the country. That's about one percent of our population. So if they are doing their share of murders since Trump's famous speech, that would be 11 murders

(correction 30 million is 10 percent, and shockingly that means based on Trumps number,s if undocumented workers are simply committing murders at a rate proportional to their presence they would have committed 110 since Trumps speech.)

YesYNot says

About 1100 murders have also been committed using guns in that time

If the numbers are closer to what many say, around 12 million, there still would have been about three (correction 30) murders committed by illegal immigrants in this time. But they are often dirt poor, and yes, probably have a slightly higher proportion of criminals than the general population.

But, not to poke fun at or bully the intellectually challenged FortWayne, but what's the point ?

Obama has increased border security and ejected criminal immigrants far more than any other administration, and yes, this is an accepted fact. So exactly what is Trump trying to do ? If he can make this issue stick, it's only going to serve to hurt the right wing wacko base. That is it's going to pull a few more of the ones with IQs over 80 out of the right wing bubble. If you're a right winger single issue mexican hater, you're is not going to be able to justify voting republican for that reason alone unless you are stupid enough to to put your fingers in your ears like FortWayne does, and say "lalalalalalalalalalalala I can't hear you" when presented with the facts about Obama's record on border secruity and deporting criminal immigrants.

4   FNWGMOBDVZXDNW   2015 Jul 29, 11:44am

If there are 12 million illegals out of 300million people that is 1100*12/300=44 murders by illegals in that time. I'm sure there have been more than one. FortWayne has simply not found them.

and approx. 4,000 people have died because of vehicles

I've pointed this out with regard to the outsized fear of terrorists when we kill more people on the roads every month or two with our cars than died in 9/11. The reason I focused on guns and illegals here is because I read the first sentence of the OP. You seme to lack the modicum of focus needed to follow the conversation

And that's the problem with you liberals. You are not mentally capable of comprehending that it's the individual and not the gun who is responsible.

I, like millions of other fellow Americans own guns, haven't shot anyone yet. But every year government puts more and more restrictions and inconveniences on me. And liberals, are fake outraged every year about guns because they don't like guns, dumb hippies. Yet when their bullshit kills people, they claim it's their freedom to do what they do. Way more lives have been fucked up by drugs, alcohol and STD's that spread through the world because of liberal attitude toward sex.

You can't fix liberals like you can't fix stupid. Liberalism is something they grow out of when they mature, at least most people do.

6   FNWGMOBDVZXDNW   2015 Jul 29, 12:25pm

Fort-wayne style conservatives apparently can't comprehend that there are many causes to any outcome. They just want to attribute cause based on ideology and convenience. Do you think that this guy's nationality was responsible for this murder, or was it his behavior. Hey, nationality don't kill people. People kill people! It's a matter of convenience for you isn't it?

7   CL   2015 Jul 29, 12:47pm

Conservatards just can't figure out who they hate/want to alienate the most. Is it Mexicans? Blacks? Women? I bet they go for the trifecta, or even add Asians.

White protestant men have occupied all the highest offices and held all the power for the past 224 years.

Clearly the problems in this country are due to immigrants and women. Immigrants go around raping everybody, and women falsely accuse everyone of rape.

Good catch. Nice to know you read my comments. You're right, and I won't make excuses for it. Believe it or not even math people can make silly arithmetic mistakes. But there is no excuse for that one (but I am kind of burned out after teaching straight through summer school and am off now). Oops, there I did try to make an excuse for it.

But that means that undocumented immigrants would have committed 110 murders since TRump made those comments ? That is, if Trumps numbers are right, and they are simply proportional to murders committed by the rest of the population.

By the way, I don't think there is any fucking way that undocumented immigrants are 10% of our population.

THe official 12 million number, which would be more like 4% is much more believable, and actually even that sounds high to me.

Thanks. BTW, the first draft of your reply was better, before you added the summer school excuse. That simply invites recollection of your September sequencing error, accusing me of following you to a thread where I had posted the first comment. It isn't just August arithmetic, marcus, it's also logical sequencing. You elevate your feelings above observable reality so that you can troll people. At least this time you did acknowledge and correct the error.

19   marcus   2015 Jul 30, 10:14am

Actually, my being burned out isn't even an excuse. There are far better excuses from that morning, but I really do believe there's no excuse. Not even the fact that 10% of the population being illegals is so obviously not true.

As for this ?

Wow a single incident absolutely proves the absurdly stretched straw-man argument you fabricate about liberals and Mexicans. No one can ever doubt you again. Unless they understand formal logic, statistics, and disciplined reasoning. But no worries, Trumps base do not go for such fancy highfalutin effort.

27   John Bailo   2015 Jul 31, 6:56am

Doesn't anyone remember Cuba? Scarface? They dumped thousands of criminals on the US. So why is it so hard to fathom that Mexico would do the same especially with its surplus of crazed thugs. Sure, plenty of regular people emigrate, or sneak in to make some cash. But alongside that they could hide lots of early release prisoners.

I'm not saying I know it is happening.

But people flail as if there has been no precedent just because it's Trump saying so!

29   Tenpoundbass   2015 Jul 31, 7:32am

John if this was the late 70's and early 80's these same group of people would be poll shamming those that were calling the boatlift Cubans criminals.
Even the Cuban profesional class that arrived here a decade before the criminal class did.

Rich don't go around shooting up neighbors. It's the poor fucks with nothing to lose that commit crimes to make ends meet. Especially those who are not vested into America. If they don't give a damn about America, and just use it as a temporary convenience, don't expect them to care about what happens around them either.

And on top of that, it creates labor inflation. Lower wages for working class, I though you liberals wouldn't want that... but all it takes is a few sob stories from politicians about poor crossing the border and you are laying red carpet out. Naive fools.

Pretty sure most California big city dwellers don't understand:

1.) what sentencing guidelines are in California for felons carrying a gun(18 months lo term and I believe 5 years hi term) vs federal guidelines of 15 years min..

2. How this impacts the decision of a felon on whether or not to carry a gun. At the lo term, it effectively means they'll serve around 9 months, with none of it being in s state prison...they'll stay in county jail which is much easier time.

3. The mindset of a hardened criminal. These guys are no joke and most are far beyond any kind of rehabilitation. They do not think anywhere near like you or me. Really the best solution is to just kill these dudes. They'll never stop being aggressive predators no matter the counseling and rehab. If you believe in the concept of good and evil, these guys epitomize evil. It's also near impossible to explain this type of shitbag to someone who has inerrant faith in the good of humanity until they experience horrific violence with their own eyes.

36   curious2   2015 Aug 2, 3:25pm

sentencing guidelines...for felons carrying a gun [affect] the decision of a felon on whether or not to carry a gun.

So, are you calling FortWayne a felon, and saying the sentencing guidelines have inconvenienced him by restricting his carrying guns while committing felonies? I had not considered that perspective on Bob's question, but it might explain why FortWayne did not answer.

Oh really it's that simple huh? Well, let me refresh your mind.

First there is a gun safety permit, do you need to get a permit for freedom of speech or is it a right? Why don't you put a tape on your mouth and not speak in public against government until someone gets you a permit to put things in perspective.

Next and this is the insane part, I can't actually carry your gun anywhere because liberals are scared of pointy things. Concealed carry is not permitted, open carry got banned too. And at home there are restrictions on how you keep it. So now there is absolutely no carry, that makes it almost useless for dangerous situations.

And of course there are a ton of stupid laws about number of bullets, ability to reload, can't own a silencer, etc... whole bunch of big government bullshit which is only abided by us law abiding citizens for no fucking good reason, oh and gun registration.
