Any Republican official ,on their watch. or Republican voter that allowed this to happen should be tried as an enemy combatant & executed. This happened so ,THEY ARE GUILTY.

Won-lost record is the most important statistic determining a prosecutor's longevity. In many districts, any dropped or lost case is a liability at election time. Voters rarely punish you for jailing the innocent.

A while back I finally realized something clever men and all women have known forever: women of all ages and walks of life like to be seen as beautiful. Even the smart ones, the independent ones, the work-aholic ones and the accomplished ones still want their good looks acknowledged. A compliment paid in this manner will always sail through their defenses, even if they are trying to prevent its effect through sheer stubbornness. A compliment they perceive as truly genuine is like a treasure they'll put in a jewelry box to take out and remember from time to time. And they'll always remember who gave it to them, even if it's just a random stranger or homeless bum.
Homely girls aren't immune, but it will take more specificity to make them believe it. Compliment one or two features: their feet, shoes, hands, figure, ears, or hairstyle... There's usually something that's nice about their appearance, and often many things are in fine shape, even if the total package is somewhat underwhelming. Even a silent compliment will work! Look them over and smile big while maintaining eye contact. That's body language for "I like what I see and that's you." I got a just-because discount at Target last week when I did that to the woman behind the register who was a bit on the hefty side but otherwise took care with her appearance and was mildly attractive.

What you should watch out for are the raving lunatic women who have taken no or almost no care with their appearance. These women aren't sane, and should be avoided if possible, no matter if they are inherently pretty or ugly as a gunnysack full of rectums.

Deleted several posts about national politics, The Donald, etc. which had nothing to do with the O.P.

The reason I gave money to a Republican in this particular case is that he is running against an incumbent commonwealth attorney who prosecuted a man whom she knew (or ought to have known) was innocent, and worked to suppress or withhold evidence which proved that he was telling the truth and his accuser was lying. Tracci doesn't sound like a perfect choice, in the past he's bloviated about Benghazi and other standard-issue republican canards but that doesn't prove he won't be able to function competently as a prosecutor. Unlike the incumbent who's proven that she can't do the job (in fact, she's a menace to Justice). If the new guy turns out to be no good as well then they can replace him next election too; that's how it goes.

I suspect that plea bargaining is at play here. This is part of the pathology of the incredibly fucked up part of criminal law, which rewards DAs and detectives to make brownie points at much too high salaries, while taking away the rule of law. And really pisses me off that these mutts can feather there "career" at the expense of an innocent.

OTOH what is this guy doing picking up a youngish girl for a ride, isn't that begging for trouble?
