Looks like I got through another "rainy season" in southern California without replacing my roof. Who says maintenance costs are high in Cali... when all you get are light rain showers... who needs an expensive roof!
Ha! I'm in the same boat. I still have the original roof (house built in 77). I love clay tile - it lasts forever. I plan on using as much of the original tile I can when I finally have to replace my roof.

You guys will be sorry. I would fix it now, when the demand is low and you could negotiate a low price. The very first downpour in the next season will have everyone running for the roofers services, who will charge like hell.
