According to Riverside County officials, the 35-year-old woman, who was not identified, tried to enter the Woodcrest, Calif., home where her ex-boyfriend and three children live through the front door early Saturday morning, but it was locked. So she climbed on the roof, stripped off her clothes and tried to shimmy down the chimney. Shortly before 5 a.m., her estranged boyfriend, Tony Hernandez, said he heard the woman crying for help.

Doesn't anyone read or watch the news anymore. This is like the 5th national stuck in the chimney related story in less than a year.

Chimneys are intentionally made to small to allow Santa or anyone to slip down the chimney into your house. I mean when was the last time you ever saw burglar bars on the chimney?

“I tried to get her out, but it was too hard,” he said.

I guess she should have worn clothes to shimmy down the chimney.

He didn't say what was too hard, maybe he was enjoying it.

Were they all in California? About two years ago, again in California, a woman doctor, if you can believe such stupidity, tried to enter her boyfriend's home the same way and became stuck. Sadly, he was away for a week and she wasn't found until after she died. They showed recovery photos with the sight of disgusting fluids of decomposition flowing out of the same area as these men are working in.

This is some serious stalking--just what were her (their) plans once they got inside the house, prepare a nice meal as a surprise for them?

This will make some people mad but it seems distinctly like something only a woman would do. I can't think of any normal man who would have so little sense to think he could gain access to a house through the chimney, they just know more about things like this.

Chimney is likely to result in positional asphyxia. Men do this stupid shit too.

Here's one they didn't notice for 27 years:

Whenever I see cases like this I think of Sad Astronaut Hottie.

That's right, I remember when that one happened too, but forgot about it. Clearly this man was not normal, though, sounded like he had severe mental or psychological issues if not both. And it was only by sheer chance they found him--makes you wonder how many others are waiting to be discovered...

There's a lesson to be learn here. Clean your chimney at least once a year. The buildup of soot can be a fire hazard.

I'm going to build a slightly larger chimney.

So that a fatter naked woman can get stuck in it. Sorry honey, but if you can't fit down the chimney, you can't fit in my bed.
