The 20-30 are already basically as numerous as boomers. By 2020 boomers will not dominate quite as much.
As Andy Rooney pointed out, being of the same generation is very little to have in common. When you talk about "boomers" you're talking about people who protested against the war in Viet Nam, and people who volunteered to fight in it, and neocons who avoided risking their own lives but then became chickenhawks when they got a chance to send other people's kids into harm's way. You're talking about millions of radically different people from Amy Goodman to Karl Rove. The reckless deficit spending that began during the administration of Ronald Reagan (not a boomer) was interrupted only during the administration of Bill Clinton (boomer), then set new records during the administration of GW Bush (boomer). It isn't really fair to paint all these different people with the same brush.
