I had to change my name after my father stole my identity and then threatened to steal it again, but I'll get to that part later.) I was eighteen and a freshman in college when my father and his attorneys forced me to attend his trial at New York City's federal courthouse so that he "looked good" for the jury -- the consummate family man. And you, Jordan Belfort, Wall Street's self-described Wolf: You remember my father, right? You were chosen to be the government's star witness in testifying against him. Saw the movie - if you're interested in soft porn, watching people take incredible amounts of drugs, oh and a mildly interesting story line; go see it. Hey, the babes look wonderful, and there are some funny moments, but you have to hold your grip on reality (like when he's so wasted that he has to crawl through the lobby of a country club, roll down the stairs and crawl into his car - and evidently without any other person seeing/reacting to a man crawling ... uh, really?). The movie is pretty long too, thankfully you've got all these naked babes to make the amount of time tolerable. Would I go see it again? No. Wait till it comes out on Red Box would be my recommendation.

What? People actually went to jail for money laundering? How archaic.

Actually, they went to jail for stock manipulation, flat out lying and a boatload of other SEC and legal screwups. It was interesting how a seasoned and well trained stock salesman like Jordan Belfort, could sweet talk and swindle people. When he went to penny stocks his past experience paid off and the difference between him and folks who weren't so well trained was insane.
