It is a bit of a scam on the part of insurers. Everyone is already paying for the uninsured. This is already reflected in everyone's rates. And so at best, Obamacare should be a wash in this regard. But the insurers are using this as an excuse to gouge. Before Obamacare, insurers passed on the cost of Obamacare to the insured. And they were making a profit. Now, under Obamacare, they jack up rates, not lower them, and make even more money.

Think about it. If you are paying $2,000 a year in premiums to cover the uninsured, and then Obamacare comes along and covers the uninsured, you should be paying $2,000 less in premiums, as this monkey is now off your back. Somehow that isn't happening, is it? How is that possible? Fraud.

This is America. There are no losers. Everyone gets a trophy.

Eliminate the ACA & let supply side economics drop healthcare cost to near zero.
ACA is another rigged game,Brass,Silver,Gold & Platinum plans.
Sounds like Capitalism not Socialism.Follow the money.

We can't have ACA we have better things to spend money on.

Obamacare has enough in it to dislike without making things up or withholding relevant information in news reports.

How many people are in Tom Waschura's family and how much money does he make?

With a family of 4 and $94,200 a year at the 75% income level as of the new year his share would be limited to less than $8949 annually which makes a $10K increase (starting at zero) mathematically impossible.

Most of us making more get coverage through our employers where pre-existing conditions are excluded, a lot of things are covered, and prices are consequently already high but a better deal than private plans because they're tax-exempt.
