Wow there is no much wrong with this I can't even begin to explain.

Basically they do this in order to gather support from women who will applaud this despite all the supremely nasty things happening in the tech world at the moment. Like Evita Peron, tyrannies use women like Marissa Mayer as tools to put a nice face on their horrible policies. Women see it as a symbol for 'female empowerment' however these roles are not available for 99% of them. Can a CEO really be 1) responsible 2) capable 3) ethical while being some silly fashion sex symbol?

APOCALYPSEFUCK is Shostakovich says

The photograph is a parody of a cheesecake shot but fails in using the irony as its organizing conceit. It's also aggressively ugly chromatically with the magenta against deep green particularly noxious and the blue against her nearly translucently pale skin looking kinda clinical. The shareholders should be on the phone with her advising her the CEO is not to be left to look silly in a rag trader magazine.

really inspires me to think Yahoo is in safe hands to see this tart sprawled out on a lounge chair.

perpetuating the lie that a woman can be committed to the workforce and still remain appealing to men.

what a huge monstrous lie feminism is.

do you honestly think that someone like this can really manage the stresses of leading a company of that size? absolutely not- it's because she's not running it- she's just a figure head. A 'poster girl'.

New Mom? Unlike 99% of working women, she's rebuilt an office into a nursery, and has a platoon of paid helpers. She's more like the mom in Queen of Versailles. I'm sure she never misses an important meeting to take the kid to the doctor.

its such a horrible horrific scam. A women go around believing that they are entitled to this life that is either financially impossible, or required unbelievable levels of tax money in order to facilitate. Seems reality is somewhere between these two poles.

All of these tech dinosaurs, Yahoo, AOL, Jeeves, are being dying slow deaths. The recent Marissa hype won't save Yahoo.

9   MershedPerturders   2013 Aug 19, 1:51am

just yet another result of our complete sham economy. Stocks that are not connected to company revenues. CEOs who hold no responsibility to shareholders. Everything is just a stupid hollywood production.

Intriguing landing strip. Never would have guessed.

Ya know, youz guyz is just terrible jolly joker teasers!!

Whatever, just don't forget your pals at PatNet for the cookout.

I'll bring beer.

14   Tenpoundbass   2013 Aug 20, 12:32am

I thought this was that video of her circulating on the web, where she lays on her side, and shoves a potato in her cooch then queefs, sending the potato shooting into unsuspecting interns sitting at their terminals trying to do their work.

It's why she called everyone in from working from home. She needed fresh victims, that didn't know it was coming and not wince in anticipation.

15   Tenpoundbass   2013 Aug 20, 12:35am

...and are those monitoring ankle bracelets, or is she hiding her hideous kankles?

16   SJ   2013 Aug 20, 12:40am

Not sure why the media finds this bitch so attractive. She is pure evil and a lousy CEO. Banning remote and flex workplace would be great way to drive away top performers. Blech!

17   Y   2013 Aug 21, 8:25am

ahh..another frustrated lonely web-enabled eunuch casting blame for their lot in life on a movement whose sole purpose is to bring equality to a subset of humanity that has been treated as 2nd class citizens since the beginning of time.

further proof you don't know your 'a' from a hole in the ground....

For the first time in more than two years, Yahoo sites were the most visited in the country in July, according to a monthly report from comScore, which tracks unique visitors to U.S. properties across the web.

She's got a purdy mouth, but I still wouldn't invest in Yahoo. I betcha that those that complain the most about her or Yahoo have no idea that their 401K/ETF funds are invested in Yahoo. Massive diversification in the name of buying tons of mediocre companies like Yahoo. PFFT.

What you know (or rather think you know) about Mayer is interesting. Please elaborate on how someone--who has made more money than all of patnet combined while hanging with two of the most succesful ceo's of the last decade--is merely skating by on her looks.

Stock is up.. pageviews are up.. confidence is as well. Wasn't that her job?

22   bmwman91   2013 Aug 21, 2:48pm

It is a CEO's job to do exactly what Mayer has done at Yahoo, except it is a supposed to be a man doing it. Mayer is supposed to partake in the success by having dinner ready and waiting for that busy Mister CEO when he gets home. How can he save the company on an empty stomach! Maybe watch the latest episode of Leave it to Beaver after dinner, fill up the Cadillac with some premium leaded.....better not hear any of that Elvis nonsense on the AM. Sounds like colored music.

23   CMY   2013 Aug 21, 4:19pm

Whatever.. she's blonde and has a CS degree from stanford. Dime a dozen.

none are Tech companies, they certainly are media companies.. they certainly use Tech products .. but so do many other industries..

anyway ... the dinosaurs provided services some 10 years ago similar to Twitter/Facebook.. so they will be around for some time to come.

25   Y   2013 Aug 21, 10:32pm

Success has nothing to do with 'degrees'.
Being blond, however, is another matter.

Yep, and she got rid of work from home. While she's got an army of helpers, all these other parents now have to go back to 1-2 daily hours of commuting, etc.
