Lets see if we are as bad as the Canadian waiting time...

No progress in wait times for health care in Canada: report

Only bright note: Quebec did better than average for two procedures

BY CHARLIE FIDELMAN, GAZETTE HEALTH REPORTER JUNE 11, 2013

http://www.montrealgazette.com/health/progress+wait+times+health+care+Canada+report/8509242/story.html

MONTREAL - Despite government attempts to reduce delays, wait times for access to care have stagnated or worsened, the Wait Time Alliance says in its eighth report card.

The annual report card, issued Tuesday, is a snapshot of how long Canadians wait for a broad range of medical procedures and services within the context of a $5.5-billion federal fund to reduce wait times, set up in 2004 and to be distributed until 2014.

Despite some improvements, the report says, national results show few signs of progress and significant variations remain among provinces and regions.

Hospital corporations are building new facilities with no emergency departments, only elective surgeries covered by insurance, to maximize Obamacare profits. With "no lifetime caps," I'll bet less than six months, with 20% of hospital patients getting injured by malpractice or nosocomial infections, thus fattening profits even further. Oh - in the case of "non-profits" like Kaiser, make that "net revenues" and "executive compensation packages."

I don't think you get it SON!

This isn't Canada, this isn't European socialized medicine.
This is forced participation in an unrestricted market.
Where the Insurance companies have the luxury of charging high Premiums, while the Doctors charge so much that just your portion of what you have to pay when is all said and done. Will still be more than what they were getting pre Obamacare, from pay as you go patients.

In utter woids, it would be in the Doctors best interest to bang their patients out and move on the the next. This is not a government bureaucracy, where profits ISN'T the motive!

It's the exact fucking opposite.

So I'm betting on, the receptionist sticks the thermometer in your ass, and tells you to walk through that door, when you walk through the Doctor will pull the thermometer out, and tell you to go out the exit. They'll have a conga line lined up around the block.

For doctors who participate in insurance plans, it has almost always been the case. Particularly at the primary care level.
