Guess this show must be funded by Realtors to paint the picture that the housing market is not in the toilet so they had to lie....
To be fair, they didn't fake the home sales. The people did buy the house that the show portrayed them buying. The other houses that they didn't buy were staged in some instances. And the buyers had to do a little acting as well...
I guess some things never change! Brings to mind Charles Van Doren and the Twenty-One scandal of the late 50's when the public found to its utter horror the show was rigged! People were much more naive in those days! Our teachers would regale us with how brilliant all those ordinary people were!

How is this anything like that??
The house they pretend to choose is a house they have already closed on. The other houses they look at it are usually houses they already looked at...not always, but usually. So it's not entirely faked.
I honestly could care less if they fake it. It's more reassuring that people aren't insane enough to look at three houses and then be forced to pick one. It's still funny though how much debt they go in to to buy a house with a nice kitchen, which is why i watch it purely for the laughs.
Oh No. Say it isn't so.
What next. Realtor's don't represent my best interests?
