Hmm...suprised this hasn't generated more interest. I thought it was a good discussion about "Reaganomics" and how it might have been needed 30 years ago but is no longer working.

People's votes should be weighed inversely to their age since the younger voters have to live with the policies passed today far longer than the older voters.

I disagree with this article. It's the usual "lets spend our way into prosperity" argument, which doesn't work.

It was tried by Obama just a few years ago, and it failed. All Keynesian stimulus spending results are bad once the stimulus runs out, just bigger government, a lot more debt, more poverty, more businesses that sit around waiting for government spending.

Reagonomics was a total failure except to move lots of money up the wealth scale and create lots of debt. There is no discussion to be had. You can't borrow your way to wealth no matter how many times the keynsians say it.
