This was the most interesting open house I have ever been to. It was filthy. There was crap strewn all over the place. I could have made a tremendous improvement in the looks of the house with two large black trash bags. There must be some incentive to the seller to keep the place looking crappy. Really, it would have been a dramatic improvement with 15 minutes of work.

For example, the bed wasn't made, there were shoes tossed around on the floor of the closets. There was oodles of half broken furniture in the back yard. Papers drizzled throughout the house. Paint with smudges and smears all over. No one at the open house spoke English (which is fine by me), but it goes to the strangeness of the experience.

Why have an open house in the middle of an eviction?

Beyond the big hot mess, let me tell you about the house. There was this really pretty horizontal wood paneling in the front entrance. Unfortunately, that lead back into non-matching vertical wood paneling in the back. It looked like there was an addition on one side of the house where you found a second living room with tile floor and a fire place. The bedrooms were smalls, but the layout of them down one hallway was nice. There was a large hot tub in the back yard. I can only imagine what would be found inside if the inside of the house was any reflection. Nice sized back yard.

If you were too buy it it would need a good cleaning and some paint at the very least. Probably also needs new carpet, but the wood and tiled parts seemed to be unscathed.
