This amazing interview was done back in 1985 with a former KGB agent who was trained in subversion techniques. He explains the 4 basic steps to socially engineering entire generations into thinking and behaving the way those in power want them to. It's shocking because our nation has been transformed in the exact same way, and followed the exact same steps

It's the one thing the libbies/schools are good at!

School is just glorified babysitting for a lot of people.

DISCLAIMER: although the late Yuri Bezmenov appears to have been a serious and sincere journalist, host G. Edward Griffin is a conspiracy nut worse than bgamall. Griffin appeared on Faux Noise as Glenn Beck's "expert on the Federal Reserve," and has written elsewhere that cancer is a nutritional deficiency and that HIV does not exist (he claims AIDS is caused by anti-HIV drugs). At the time of the OP interview, Griffin was a member of the ostensibly anti-communist (but really paranoid and hateful) John Birch Society, even less credible than Faux Noise.

With that disclaimer, and without any endorsement, here is a summary of what Bezmenov said to Griffin in 1984 in the first OP video:

85% of KGB resources go towards legal activity; in America, the goal is "to change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that, despite the abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interests of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country." Bezmenov described the four strategic steps:

1) demoralization (15-20 years) to educate students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of patriotism
"A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him... He will refuse to believe it...."

2) destabilization (2-5 years): economy, foreign relations, defense systems
"The influence of Marxist/Leninist ideas in the United States is absolutely fantastic"

3) crisis (6 weeks) with violent change of power, structure, and economy

4) normalization (may last indefinitely)
"When the Soviet tanks moved into Czechoslovakia in '68, Comrade Brezhnev said 'Now the situation in brotherly CZ is normalized'"
"This is what will happen in the United States if you allow these schmucks to bring the economy to crisis, promising unlimited goodies, nevermind whether the promises are fulfilled or not." (Bezmenov warned that sincerely Marxist professors are instrumental only to destabilize; they may turn into the most bitter enemies when the Marxists come to power, so they get executed.)

Bezmenov may have had a lot to say about the Soviet efforts to destabilize Pakistan and split off Bangladesh, but his 1984 warnings to the USA seem overblown.

you use "no one"

I was only quoting, as a favor to PatNet to convert the video to written words that could be copied and pasted. As I said in my comment, I was not endorsing. Maybe I should go back and italicize or use a different color or something.

What did he know he must have been Russia's Gruber and Krugman, because the USSR collapsed a few years after he was relevant.

Soviets were very good at propaganda and the flow transitioned to the current putin led government just dressed up in a different ism. Regarding his analysis of United States, he was making it sound according to the video like U.S. was on the verge of complete collapse if things don't change, but I would argue that 30 years later, stage 3 (crisis) has never happened and I don't see it happening any time soon because as opposed to many other countries there are different branches of government instead of a bunch of sycophants who are tied to a ruler/chief by an umbilical cord.

While I agree with his analysis that there were conscious leftist propagandists/sympathizers and idealistic useful idiots furthering soviet agenda, it's critical to admit that both left and right wings have historically used these tactics of deception and manipulation and will continue to do so in perpetuity. From my point of view, both wings and camps are infested with thugs who will not hesitate to exterminate the opposition if the time is right and if given a chance. The best way for a citizen to defend themselves is not to be caught up in counterproductive collectivism so that they don't turn into a useful idiot. And objectively, only one ism is truly about the individual and that's satanism. Despite its flaws, that part is true.

Comments: Some of most lasy people I have met are the most evil people I have met. They used deception as the main ruse to fool people. These "evil" people lie like the devil.

When Bill Clinton engaged in the turbochargation of the CRA, this was mass collectivism, but klepto-cronism with his Lawyer and Lobbyists.
NAFTA ended up being much like Perot said, but people believed the Deception of the Lawyers. Then Gore went on to work at the Lobbying Firms and a Venture Capitol Firm for influence.

Bill Clinton did little about the 1st WTC bombing, little about the 2 embassy bombings, and this must have empowered the Extremists: OH Look we can attack America, have Clerics in Brooklyn consult on missions in NYC, and the Americans dont do anything about this.....

Hillary Clinton did her Thesis on Saul Alinski, who was espousing the same thought as this Russian agent. Saul Alinski said he had a Kinship with the devil. Hope his disciples dont..........

Well it's certainly being done by asshole George Soros who financed the farce occupy movement, the black lies matter movement, the current lie about cops shootings blacks movement(anyone remember the hands up don't shoot lie that the media fapped endlessly over) and oh more than a handful of Democrats.
