Does any see an actual story here, is there an actual spaceship in our solar system, or are they only saying that it "COULD" happen?

Anyone believing any wild outlandish hype tech at this point is gullible. I would even suspect any claims about established tech. Even Electric cars aren't all THAT!

It's probably this article is completely made up. If this is a Pentagon paper, let's see the paper.

There is probably alien shit all over the solar system all the time. It's stating the obvious, not representing any real or known threat except as the usual usual fear porn stuff.

As the proof of deep state incompetence grows ever larger, the distractions need to be ever larger as well.

Even IF there were other sentient beings out there it is unlikely we could ever be visited - the dimension of the Universe is just too massive. Also they would have to have been space faring 1000's of years before we came down from the trees. By the time their probe reached us they would probably already be extinct.

Given that space is continually expanding it's likely that a species more advanced than us would be closer to the core (more time to develop). The time sequence for them arriving here, from deeper/ closer to the Universal origin point, seems unlikely.

That's my reasoning as well. I try to explain that to people, but they just hit me with some L. Ron Hubbard or Gene Roddenberry shit, to explain it away.
I mean Hey! it's all Science, it says so right in the Science Fiction title.

I mean for some reason they reckon that Aliens can distort physics. Yet they assume every galaxy or star we see in the Universe behaves and are bound to the same physics laws as we have on Earth. Nobody will discuss the possibility of different physics and behaviors that our understanding as we understand it. Based on our limited knowledge of our own planet and our paltry atmosphere.

But hey Aliens can get here on Unicorn Farts and Pixie dust. Because it all looks slick on the TV screen.

And also for them to get here, they would have to be traveling the Speed of Light. more SiFi fantasy shit. It would take hundreds of thousands of years, if not millions of years before a space craft from the closet planet could reach us.
We've got people as old as our furthest Probe by man, that reaching retirement age. That probe has just left our solar system. Just imagine if that were a space ship and the folks on that ship, were in their mid to late twenties when they left. Those folks would be in their late 70's by now.

Maybe they have a lifespan on where 10,000 years is their infancy. I doubt humanity will ever make it out of the solar system, but another much longer lived species might. We may become a much longer lived species in time.

Oumuamua

Apparently, the 'authorities' were much more freak defreaked by this than they let on. There was a vid that said it was not irregular in shape like an asteroid, it was elongated and could only have performed its arc maneuvers with some kind of artificial propulsion.

something tumbling end over end and elongated like that. Would be effected by gravity differently than a spherical object.

Without knowing who these people are that are claiming it, why do you assume they are "authorities" at all?

That's some seriously quotable shit right there.

Yeah I have grown to question the validity of about 80% of all video content and studies, on the subject of Oumuamua following the encounter.

As it was first reported it came by and caught us all by surprise, then left as quickly as it came. By all accounts, they were kicking themselves for not seeing it coming so they could have prepared to study it better. Since then, they have reported so much speculation about it, and make it seem that it was that well studied at the time. They aren't even dead sure that it was elongated like they claim. They theorize that it was only based on the it was reflecting light in the images. They never zoomed a telescope on it to inspect it in great detail. So realizing that, you know now where the speculation that it could have been a spaceship fits into the realm of possibilities.

If the object did not move according to passive gravity, then the math is well within the scope of engineers and other educated folks. They should publish the numbers.
