"Jim Stone takes issue with the LEFTISTS who claim that the BOOMERS DESTROYED EVERYTHING"
"Favorite Leftist lie: The boomers destroyed everything

FACT: The "boomer way of doing things" was stopped completely right around 1985, at the latest 1990, and it has been ALL DOWNHILL SINCE. Boomers thought "made in Japan was crap" and even today, the old American tools when dug out and tested beat the quality of the new Japanese tools, and totally destroy anything from China. THE BOOMERS DID IT RIGHT.

They passed on enough common sense to the Gen-x'ers to make Gen-X the next target, that generation is targeted already. Boomers were the best America ever got, at a time when America was the best at EVERYTHING. It's no wonder the ire of the elite is pointed at the boomers now, and the so-called "elite" will proceed to blame everything they themselves did to destroy the United States on the boomers to make young america, which the "elite" have made clueless, hate its heritage. It's called "displacement", and it will serve well to make sure the old, great America never returns."

Millennials far less conservative than Boomers and Xers during similar age points:

Don't trust a report, talk to some millennials.

Don't argue, TALK.

We don't have a news media, we have constant unrelenting propaganda. Remember that Hillary Clinton has a 97% chance of winning, according to all "the polls".

We do not have a news media at all, it's just propaganda. They are depending on the Asch Conformity Experiment, but nobody in millennial and zoomer generation pays attention to it. We have a disconnect, finally.

I'd say the Millenial Lib:Con ratio is easily 2:1, and that's discounting my West Coast coworkers who are mostly Millie Leftoids.

Left Coast are not, Worse with just women and especially White Women in their 30s. The Millie guys aren't much better. And this is Central Florida, not Coastal California.

I posted the chart.

I know more Gen Z conservatives than Millennial ones. I have Black women I work with from Gen Z that say "Trump gave me money." Only ONE woman I work with in her 30s thinks Trump is okay, but she's a Central Florida Rural Gal. The rest of them are very social justice proper in their language - the White ones. Black gals don't give a shit about PC.

We are all stupid when we are young.

And this isn't about liberal or conservative, it's about being right and wrong. People who think there's 50+ genders, they are wrong. These are people who have been propagandized, but they were propagandized in my opinion due to neglect of parents.

Look at the chart again. Not only are Millennials in both the UK/US not becoming conservative, they're becoming more Left wing with age! And this isn't 1984 anymore when the difference was much smaller. This is with the Left aggressively standing for Ukraine, Masking, Universal Income, and Kid-elected Trans Surgery. As opposed to the 80s-2000s Left that was mostly Free Speech, Anti-Iraq War, anti-Nukes shit.

As many Millennials overwhelmingly fail to launch, even into their 30s, expect them to support more Left Wing support programs. Since they Support Current thing, and think Hate Speech isn't Free Speech, don't be surprised that they're fine with Social Credit Scores in return for UBI.

Why do you trust what is told to you?

Do you believe that the vaccines are safe and effective and that masking works?

There's no credibility in western media. Maybe I can be more direct - our news media is propaganda. It's social and political propaganda, nothing else. They lie constantly. They make up bullshit and report it as true, constantly. Don't you remember that Kyle Rittenhouse was just a white racist that went to a riot to murder black men? That's our fucking media. There's NO TRUTH IN IT.

Dude, it's based on exit polling.

It conforms with my experience on both coasts in the US among the workforce and neighbors.

Millennials are more left wing than previous generations and are apparently becoming more leftwing.

Something like 45% of Millie women are unmarried and Childless, and they're already entering their late 30s and some are entering their 40s now. Not many are going to start a family. Single, childless women are the most fertile ground for Leftism - especially those with college educations who make up a huge proportion of that segment.
34   AmericanKulak   2023 Mar 14, 11:40pm

Who is the outlier, over and over again?

Millennials... becoming more left wing over time.

Well it sounds like to me, everyone is in aggeeance that lifelong Liberal Boomers Suck Balls. Why limit that to Boomers? Can't you just shorten it to "Liberals Sucks Balls"?

All of the shit people are bitching about the Boomers, I don't see conservative Boomers fitting those molds. They didn't go for new fangled fads, they had no baring on the financial system, they didn't inflict their ideology on anyone, they kept to themselves, and made their own way. Not every Boomer, was a Harvey Milk dick sucker.
36   clambo   2023 Mar 15, 8:35am

I'm a boomer and most of the ones I know aren't liberals; the females are another matter.
Boomers saw the creation if the EPA; we can remember when there was no recycling, leaded gasoline, sewage treatment plants being built, when catalytic converters were used.
I have some pictures I took in NYC in early 70's and you can see the air pollution; apartment buildings had trash incinerators.
Some smoked weed but quit; some drink booze a little bit. I can see the boozers on Facebook; they look very old.
None of the boomers I know had large families; two kids was their norm.
Except in Santa Cruz, the boomers are not using the welfare system.
Some boomers I know went to Viet Nam; one kid came back deceased.
The asshole politicians are not typical and some are older than boomers, like Turtle McConnell and his ancient ilk.

Boomer had about as much say in that, as everyone on Patnet had the power and authority to stop the Covid Scamdemic.

Good discussion. For the record I think unleaded gasoline was the right decision, not everything environmental agencies/projects come up with is bad. The data was very clear that many people, esp. kids since they are shorter, and those living near busy streets near ground level had much higher concentrations of lead in the blood which led to many and often serious health issues. But we went a long and wrong way from actually improving the health of everyone to equity and esg bullshit.

Exit polling ended under George W. Bush. We don't have exit polling anymore.

It was a knee jerk over reaction to toxic building materials. Lead paint, and Asbestos caused such a stir, that the "The New Thing" back then was putting on show to clean up the act. Besides every time they go on one of these clean up tangents, people get filthy rich in the process. Lead is pretty heavy, so having lead in your exhaust, does not suspend lead particles in the air. It falls back to the ground in short order.

Kids were getting lead poisoning from putting lead painted toys in their mouths, and eating lead paint chips. Funny how when I was kid, and even to this day. Lead fishing sinkers don't have a warning to not crimp them with your teeth. Which when I was kid I crimped thousands of them with my teeth. That surely would have put more lead in my body than the tiny amounts they put in Gasoline. Leaded gas was far more efficient by the way. They didn't even try to find a suitable replacement for lead, that behaved as well as lead did.

If you live and breathe closer to the ground it will affect you quite significantly, I've seen the data, plus modern gasoline is fine without it, sure they could always transition smoother, in a less knee-jerk fashion, but I stand by it being the right decision. Led paint and led toys of course is another big source of led poisoning. SF has plenty of old houses with old layers of led paint that's cracking off slowly, onto the floors etc. only to be ingested by babies and pets.

There is literally no good reason to have lead in gasoline.

No. The problem with leaded fuel is that it would ruin a catalytic converter. The catalytic converter was to take NO2 compounds out of the exhaust to stop photochemical smog. That worked very well, as those that remember the smog brown haze of old will attest.

In cars, yes, but in General Aviation piston engines that require over 100 octane, tetraethyl lead is still needed.

I know it's still used, but modifying the engine is the answer. It's not really needed.

It's a question of the cost of the engine.

Leaded gasoline is just a hack.
