Usually when a firm pushes a product, they do so in the manner of the "Marlboro Man," where if you buy our product, you can become just like this rugged cowboy. Why does 7-11 think anyone want to join the club of tubbo women? Also, I remember seeing lots of girls on skates when I lived in California, many I knew. None of them were anything less than athletic looking. For you guys still in California, has this become the norm? Congrads to you engineers who designed skates that could take that load.

Are you really objecting to truth in advertising?

Do you have any fucking idea how big a "Big Gulp" is? Go buy one, seriously - there must be a 7/11 nearby you.

I am still trying to finish the one I bought last month. Seriously though, it does not seem prudent to push your product as a staple of fat people.

Maybe it's a validation approach? Look at all the happy fat people (who quite incongruously appear to be "active") that enjoy the same shit that you can't get enough of?

I will say, I don't think that chubby knows how to rollerskate. She's got her thighs clenched (nervous), even though her skates are near perpendicular to the slope of the street.

Yes, but the fatties are already Big Gulp customers. You advertise to get new customers. Also, this could backfire, as a fatty will see "gee, I look like that?" and decide to forgo the Big Gulp.

This may then be another example of "get woke, go broke."

Good point. I had not considered the woke aspect.

Of the two famous boxers below, notice who was picked for the diet soda ad:

8   Patrick   2022 Jul 26, 12:48pm

Women are not terribly fat in the Bay Area.

Agreed, that's one thing they have going for them. Also the reason they put the tubbo in is because they don't want to be targeted as discriminating they workers or audience - strictly corporately speaking smart move imo, it appeases the mob and speaks the truth at the same time

We should just correct the advertisements from now on.

If you can't beat them, join them.

I’ve heard that Washington DC is simply awful for finding hot women. They’re all ugly or fat or both. These fuglies aren’t in good shape to find a man and be loved as a wife, but they are above average smart, and they want power as a substitute for happiness so they gravitate to where that is dispensed.

I remember being in Georgetown many years back and there was no shortage of hot babes. Damn Dems ruin everything.

I could believe that. There's nothing more ugly that an ugly, fat, 50 something woman with a little power.

Except an ugly, fat, 50 something woman with a lot of power.

THAT's almost the necrotic flesh I'm talking about. Though she has a smidge of pink tone. It's that Not pink, not reddish, but that nasty sickly Morgue-like white. Somebody who looks like they just came back from spending a long winter season in an Antarctic Research station looking at monitors.
