The Shiller PE, which is based on earnings for last 10 years, is at 30.7. It recently peaked to 37 and its all time high was around 45 back in early 2000.

I suspect the PE ratio to bottom no more than 16 for this upcoming bear market, which technically we may be in since the S&P 500 was 20% below its 52 week high during intraday trading today.
