I just got two Amber Alerts back to back, an abducted child in Duval county, that's north Florida I'm in South Florida.
But 90% of these Amber alerts are over one parent or the other taking their child back that has been taken from them. Very often the Grand Parents are the one that put out the Amber Alert, other times it's one ex-spouse or the other. Very rarely is it an abduction case between complete strangers.
Therefore, I do not look at them any more, now it's buzzing for the third time.

I don't think cases involving real parents should be treated the same as a wild abduction by a stranger. Unless that person really has the intention of harming the children.
Most often they just want to be with their kid.

So until they start giving more details and be honest about the threat, then I will continue to ignore them. I'm not ratting out parents to the Commie Child yankers, or their Boomer grandparents trying to take their kids away. \

I believe every child is far better off with any parent that wants their child. I refuse to get involved unless they can be honest with me. Blowing up my phone over lies and bullshit!

They should save it for the real tragedies so people can take Amber alerts more seriously.

Yep. Thought it was an inbound tornado.

And yeah, vast majority of the time it's a parent, who either a father has been paying child support for months but denied all visitation, or a drug addict mother hoping to take the kid away to apply for welfare in another state so they can use the kid to subsidize their meth lifestyle with Lester.
