I know that if the population doesn't wake up and see, what will come next will be worse. It will get worse and worse until people see. The purpose of having these piece of shit puppets as "leaders" is to FORCE people to see what is going on.

The only thing that can be called 'democratic' is when voters get an actual, direct say in legislation or other government policy.

A democracy is simply controlled by propaganda. I've been tricked. You need to make a system that is dependent on self interest of everybody involved. I think our problem is that people don't recognize when the people they elect are NOT acting in the interests of the public. That is becoming more evident recently.

I don't think so. I don't think Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi or Gavin Newsom are actually elected. I could be wrong, but it's impossible to prove I'm wrong. The only reason it's impossible to prove is because there's corruption and why would there be corruption if we have a fair vote?
