I got rid of Firefox, when the Commies took over and fired the creator. That was the end of the Mozilla fucks for me.

Who’s the shithead Mitchell Baker and what drugs is he on?

Ditched them when the gay mafia kicked out the old leader over his political donations.

I agree, kicking out Brandon Eich was a terrible mistake.

And then Firefox pissed me off by having a built-in reporting mechanism to "check for updates" which cannot ever be turned off.

I talked to someone from Firefox personally at a thing in SF, but he just said I should trust them.

Nope.

Apparently the CEO of Mozilla. Shit, well, I've been using Firefox forever. Brave has a ways to go. Oh well.

Looks like a Trannie too, don't know which way they are going, but named Mitchell with a female haircut.

Royalties, paid for setting Firefox's default search engine and understood to be largely from Google, make up the bulk of Moz's regular revenue.

The browser had 244 million active monthly users at the end of 2018, but by the second quarter of 2021, user numbers had fallen to 198 million.

According to Statcounter, Firefox currently has a 3.45% share of the desktop, mobile, and tablet browser market, sitting behind second-place Safari (18.65%) and the long-time number one, Chrome (65.18%). It’s only just above Edge, which has a 3.41% share.

I'm still proud to be using Opera.

I have never once saw 3 gigs of memory usage for two or three tabs, which was very common for Chrome and FireFart.

I find Firefox the LEAST shitty of the browsers I've considered, and don't miss IE at all. The problem I've been having with FF hogging memory and processor? Finally someone told me about the about:memory and other tools, and found out it's GOOGLE processes churning my processor cores to 90% (on an idle text messaging app) and pushing memory usage above 5gb.

haven't used FF in years. The most bloated garbage of them all.

That was the problem with them way back in 2010 or so when I ditched them. Each Tab on my browser would consume over 3 Gigs worth of shit. I would have two browser tabs open, but then the Computer Process, would say I had 10 FF sessions going at once, and collectively have FF consuming over 7 Gigs of Memory.
Once someone informed me, that every modern browser has developer tools, I ditched them and haven't looked back.
There's just no fucking reason why the Browser on my computer should be using more memory than the instance of MS SQL Server that I have open and connected to 5 databases, making linked queries, and queries just chocked full of Memory Tables and Cross Joins. Just no reason for that shit at ALL, save for the Fag Brigade at FF spying on us.

Brave has the memory issues, that I did not like about FF. And truth be told, it feels like what ever spying is going on in the background. Brave, has ten times going on.
I get the Spidey Tingley Sensation, that Brave is a Huge CIA/KGB, monitor people for wrong speak operation.

Yeah, I hadn't checked until just now. Not as bad as FF but yeah. I have a ton of memory though b/c I write bioinformatics algorithms and sometimes pull human genomes through my personal machine when I'm feeling randy.

One can write their own home grown browser quite easily with java-swing. I did that back in 03 for a particular company that needed a specific tool.
