BTW, DeSantis is better than Trump as Pres - he is younger, and we don't need any more "gerontologically advanced" officeholders aka senile old farts. No it doesn't! It's an instant run off. Here's why this system is an improvement.

You can have 20 people on the ballot. Say it's Ron Paul, Tulsi Gabbard, Mike Gravel (even though he recently did - RIP), Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Illian Ohmar, I would vote this way:

Ron Paul, Mike Gravel, Donald Trump, Tulsi Gabbard, Bernie Sanders.

If Ron Paul failed to get the majority, then my vote goes to Mike Gravel, if he fails to get the majority my vote goes to Donald Trump, then Tulsi Gabbard, and finally Bernie Sanders.

It allows you to pick for a candidate you actually want, KNOWING they are unlikely to win. It doesn't dilute the vote, and if it does, I don't see how.
