They looked like poultry assembly line workers who got stethoscopes to wear and some kind of payoff apiece to stand there. The hands folded demurely in front in ranks with the deaf speak totem are dead giveaways these days for the KommieKunt theatrical fraud.

Of course it was. I hope most people can see through this shit.

The problem with both Shapiro’s take and the ensuing flame war was that they were both based on fake news, so to speak. According to Los Angeles Times deputy business editor Jeff Bercovici, whose father-in-law took part in the Monday morning event, there never was a “walkout.”

“No one walked off their jobs. There was just a press conference,” he tweeted, after posting screenshots of reports to illustrate how “misinformation sausage gets made.”

How your misinformation sausage gets made: News outlets and commentators across the political spectrum are making hay of the supposed walkout by doctors at a Palm Beach County hospital this morning, in response to Florida's surge of Covid cases among the unvaccinated pic.twitter.com/KIZiVSHUEV

— Jeff Bercovici (@jeffbercovici) August 23, 2021
The doctors involved weren’t even on duty at the time – some had just finished their shifts and others were just arriving – but got together outside the hospital to make an appeal to the public to get vaccinated, according to Bercovici, who added that the media probably went with “doctors walk off the job” because it was the “sexier” framing of the story than “off-duty doctors do a press conference.”

Everyone was so busy coming up with a take that confirmed their priors that they didn't bother to ask if it actually happened.

Christina Pushaw, press secretary to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, brought up Bercovici’s thread to fact-check MSNBC and activists who made the story go viral. There was no strike, hospitals weren't short-staffed, the doctors “went outside for a few minutes this morning” to urge people to get vaccinated, and the whole thing was “completely misrepresented by MSNBC,” she said.

Most people vote democrat and believe that Trump said 'these fine people' about white surpremacists.

Most people do not vote democrat. That's why it's impossible to validate the vote.

I seriously doubt it. The Democratic party is now the war party, every bit as bad as the Neocons are. It's bad enough there's Neocons in the Republican party, but that's ALL there is in the Democratic party.
