So there were zero peaceful protests at any state Capitols today? I find this specious. More like "this doesn't fit the narrative, so doesn't deserve coverage."

I was listening to a "middle of the road" (riiight) news program today, with some new administration clown talking. They are pivoting (on inauguration day!!) to the new bogeyman already:

"Domestic Terrorism is the greatest threat we face today."

This new narrative allows continued suppression of all right leaning speech, and other moves to punish Trump supporters.

They know that freedom fighting starts when all rights are suppressed, voting invalidated by fraud, no public voice possible.

They are deliberately creating the conditions where everyone with half a brain feels compelled to resist, so that they can label all resistance to their overt tyranny as "terrorism".

My hope is that the military does their Constitutional duty, and actually defends the Constitution instead of fighting against it.

They took an oath. Will they honor their own oaths?

Those in charge designate the terrorists. I took an oath to "defend against all enemies foreign and domestic." The question being, what happens when those in charge are actually the terrorists? And working directly against the Constitution?

Military ethics allow refusal of perceived illegal orders. But if the orders are later deemed legal, you're screwed. It's a personal choice.

No.

They will simply follow orders.

I have asked servicemen countless times about domestic enemies. I've pointed out multiple times that there are violations of the constitution. The 1st amendment being particularly flagrant - that among all of our rights is our most important right. There is no response.

Soldiers follow orders, that's it. I understand the thinking but it is alien to me. Soldiers have no rights, if they are ordered to go on a suicide mission, they will. The thing they believe in is the chain of command.

There was a time where atheists were barred from joining the military - do you know why? Because they aren't willing to die as easily as a person that believes in an afterlife. Until 1972, all servicemen were required to attend religious services.

I still have some hope of integrity among US soldiers who see that the corpse and the whore are not legitimately elected and are actively undermining the Constitution they are sworn to protect.
