I don't see how this is from stored fertilizer. There was a fertilizer factory in Texas that went up in flames a few years ago and it was nothing like this.

Fireworks ignited, detonated, and that detonated some type of nitrate fertilizer. They said sodium nitrate but that is impossible as that does not explode by itself, so must be ammonium nitrate. So likely not a terrorist act, but then again this happened in an Armenian district...and Turks seem to be very active lately

I thought that was a hotel right near the explosion, now I see it's a grain elevator. No wonder 80% of their grain stores were reported destroyed. It was amazing the way the shock wave and water/debris overtopped this structure in the videos.

Yes, clearly burning, with flashes in the smoke, but maybe that was all part of the attempt to set off the big explosion. It's possible, though it does seem unlikely without more info.
