As world leaders continue to meet with, and confirm suspicions about our new POTUS, the decentralization trend will ramp up into high gear. The US will no longer be the central key state. We won't even be at many of the 'games' let alone 'winning'.

The world is about to become orders of magnitude more dangerous and complex for us.

Don't you think you're being just a "touch" overly dramatic?

Trump is a radical populist, that has destroyed norms, and yes is threatening our actual institutions. You want to take his line on FAKE news again? Don't you see the parrot act you do here?

Those institutions have been thoroughly corrupted over time. And yes, the mainstream media has at least 50% fake news rate these days. These are just opinion outlets for the left and the right. You're nor bothered by Cuomo telling you that you're not allowed to read Wikileaks and instead should only take the opinionated digest from a permitted "reporter" such as him?

Has he DONE anything truly unhinged as it stands? I don't think so.

What he says is utterly baffling to many people. The incessant lying about obviously provably false facts is bizarre. Most people grow out of this by puberty. He's a loose cannon performance artist at best. If he is being genuine, he is completely separated from reality. People are just speculating about which is the case.

The guys is:
1 - a newbee who has no policy experience whatsoever.
2 - a sleazy salesman who can say the exact opposite of truth with aplomb looking at you in the eyes without blinking.
3 - he's going against the ways of a lot of the Washington establishment, creating a lot of clashes and confusion.

We all knew that. The ensuing chaos is hardly surprising. Something will emerge out of that. And most likely it will still be inadequate.
But attacking his mental health based on the current dust cloud is just a tiny bit disingenuous.

He's a loose cannon

That's what I really like about him.

We had ossified self-interests running the show with a thin veneer of nominal democracy, and then miracle of miracles, democracy actually worked even as the leftist oligarchy struggled mightily to defeat it.

Sure, Trump is dangerous to everything, but I'm really happy that he's dangerous to the established order.

This is a terrible problem. The press will call him out until he stops. If the ever is an emergency and something important is happening, no one will believe Trump. He has no credibility.
Regarding experience: He doesn't seem to learn too quickly, and doesn't listen to people with experience. He goes with his gut. Bad news.

Exciting times!

Where's the JOBS?
Why are illegals still here?
How much has the National debt increased since Jan 20 2017?

Most transparent Administration, LIE OPENLY!

In the realm of politics, being truthful is hardly the first quality.
If you don't believe in his mastery of appearances, just remember he got elected after more than a year of high intensity media scrutiny.
In fact, it seems to me at least part of outrage he raises is calculated.

Nonetheless there is a difference between campaigning and leading. There is only so much you can get from BS as a leader.
That's where we are now.

About a year ago, I pointed out that Trump's skill set was perfect for getting elected but terrible for leading. He's a great marketer, is very popular, and is a great success in the media with decades of experience using it to his ends.
The media could give him a pass, but then he would never learn. Many in the media seem to be trying to help him (eg morning Joe), but he doesn't let them.

The thing is that if you look at most of the actions that are not reported on it seems like he is doing very well restoring American jobs, such as the miners and others (Eastern Kentucky went 75% towards Trump).

It took 8 years for Obama to do nothing much, and you expect Trump to make good on his promises in less than a month?
PS....You must think Trump is a God.

It's funny how they change standards based on what liberal media tells them to.

You demos better start thinking for yourselves.

3 weeks is not enough to undo the mess that was created in Syria, China, Russia. Having no foreign policy has put the US and the world in a worldwide war-like mode which is in my opinion more terrifying than that of the cold war fears of 1980s.

This Obama is slicker than Willie, and many fell for it. His flowery speeches in the midst of crisis have hypnotized the liberals - and while you were asleep you became leftists.

These are not high skilled jobs. You are not planning to take us back to medevial ages.

Who decides whether they are high skilled? Modern coal mining is as much high tech as any other energy source. Sure coal mining has been reduced but it's still part of the energy mix in many countries and relying solely on one form of energy is frankly asinine. You want an example of dirty/medieval energy? Look no further than Tesla, those cars are big net polluters compared to the standard combustion engine and hybrids. So banning those coal jobs was a dick move by Obummer and Trump reversed it. Jobs for the people, a concept not that hard to understand, making him popular with the working class.

Fact Check: FALSE.

ISIS Eliminated
Ayatollah Regime in dire economic straits, endless simmering protests
Huge breakthrough with DPRK
Paris Accord Cancelled
Europeans give in and agree to buy more soy, LNG
NAFTA being made obsolete via bilateral talks, now with Mexico (and the Canadians will have to take what they can get, Freeland is the worst Foreign Affairs Minister in Canuckistan History, managing to piss off both SA and USA in the course of a few weeks).
